We've stayed at the Pilgrim House several times (2 adults with one daughter). The owners and customer service is very helpful, friendly, and responsive. My priorities when staying in Provincetown are: Location, clean room, and a comfy, supportive bed. Pilgrim House checks all those boxes really well. The location couldn't be better: you're right near Commercial street, but set back somewhat so you don't get the on-street noise. The hotel does have some weekend events, especially in summer and on holidays like New Year's Eve, that can get loud for the rooms on the 2nd floor that are above their event room. But it's a hotel in the heart of Provincetown so not surprising at all. Since we're a family with a 7 year old, it's not ideal, but not a big issue (adults bring ear plugs and the kid can sleep through anything). We stay here ~3-4 times a year, and we notice late-night noise perhaps one of those nights on a weekend, so not bad at all. This last visit, we were more needy than I think we typically are--with parking, meals, etc.--and we always got a friendly smile and an offer to help. We often stay in the less expensive rooms, so they may not be as luxurious as one would find at a 5 star hotel, but the bed is always quite comfy, linens are great, the room is always clean and well appointed, with enough space to relax, storage, a nice desk and chair, and new streaming/smart tv. Parking is an extra cost, but likely worth it considering you're smack dab in the middle of Provincetown. The in-house restaurant started serving breakfast that that was really, really good. Not inexpensive, but the prices are good value for good food and service you get.

Adorable hotel with a super convenient location just off the main commercial street. Walking distance from everything. The on-site parking was a huge plus. We were there during off season so it was incredibly quiet. Rooms were comfy and well appointed. We had a great stay.

If you’re looking for a peaceful and quiet hotel that’s in the heart of Provincetown, look no further than the Pilgrim House on Commercial Street. The rooms are spacious and we were delighted by the wonderful staff as well as their very impressive website.

My wife and I made a reservation last Valentin's Day, 2024. I approved the charge for the nights with parking at $100. About 24 hours after the approved amount another $300 showed up on my credit card. I called the manager and he said there was a problem with the way to system charged things so he would credit back the $300 within a few days because parking was $100 a day not for the whole 4 day stay. A week went by and nothing happened so I called again. He said they had computer problems that was fixed now and he would credit my account that day. Another week and no credit. After that they wouldn't answer the phone when I called. (They use a cell phone and I'm sure caller ID showed my name.) I contacted my credit card company and they, credited my account. I then received an email from the inn canceling my reservation entirely and indicating my credit card was given a credit. The credit never showed up and again I had to file a claim with my CC company. After six months I received all my money back from the credit card company. If you reserve a room from November to April parking is free in the entire town and there are plenty of spaces to be found near the hotel.

The good: right in the heart of PTown, on site parking for a fee(45 night, cheaper at the lot at CVS) parking is tight, good size rooms, friendly service.
The bad: paint peeling on the ceilings, paper thin walls(I wear hearing aids and without them I was trying to decide what color cabins to get! the room next store was deciding on for their kitchen) if the rooms above, flush their toilets, it sounds like the water is coming into you room.

We really wanted to like this place because the location is great! However, the rooms were extremely dirty and the service was terrible. Mold growing on the shower curtains, carpet disgusting, bathroom dirty. Worst part was having to shower in 6 inches of water that backed up from the drain every time we showered. We asked for this to be remedied, I guess they attempted but did not follow through. It was gross. The service was rude and overall a bad experience for such an amazing city.

Rooms were NEVER cleaned throughout our entire stay. When we asked we were told that there was only one person cleaning and that they were short staffed. This was surely not reflected in what we had to pay for the room. Highly overpriced for what we received.

Provincetown is AMAZING, but this hotel was terrible.

Honestly could not have had a better experience at this hotel! We only stayed for one night, but it was just about as perfect as it could get. Our room was clean and comfortable, the AC was top-notch, and the location was perfect. Only about a 10 minute walk from the ferry!

Being on Commercial Street, we were initially a little concerned about it being loud, but because Pilgrim House is set a little further back, it was nice and quiet. The volume change between the street and the lobby is wild; it gets noticeably quieter the closer you get to the lobby.

The staff was also gracious enough to let us leave our bags there prior to check-in and after check-out so we didn't have to drag them around town with us the whole day. Also, the price of the room was very reasonable.

Overall, highly, highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back in the future!! Thank you, Pilgrim House!

We just returned from a week-long trip to Ptown and enjoyed it as usual. As always, we made a point to purchase tickets to see Miss Conception at Pilgrim House, and like usual, she put on another fantastic show! Such a talented performer, with a great voice, amusing stories, and lots of laughs. Though there are plenty of other entertainers in town to choose from, Miss Conception is on our "must-see" list every season. Check out her show for a great night in an amazing town!||While you're at it, stop by Pilgrim House for their tasty food options and well-made cocktails. The entire venue is very recommended!

This place is awesome! We immediately felt like family when we walked into the hotel. People flocking to help us any way possible. They were so accommodating and inviting like we were old friends visiting their home. I can't say enough for Jose and all the other employees constantly making sure we were enjoying ourselves. The rooms were older but so clean! It was so cute and in the middle of everything. They deserve nothing but the best! This will be my go-to place when coming back to the Cape.

This place was wonderful. The rooms were beautiful and the location was perfect. So, why the 2 star review? We had a separate, unexplained $43 charge on our credit card and spoke with them at the front desk to ask what it was for and there was no explanation other than they were switching to a new software system, but that they would look into it for us. No one ever called to follow up and we sent several emails and called several times but could not get through to anyone and no one responded to us. We finally had to dispute the charge with our CC company.

We mostly enjoyed staying at The Pilgrim House. The location is perfect as it is within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, shows, and beaches. The staff, except one, was professional and helpful. The Thai food was yummy. The drag show there was a lot of fun. Our room was clean and comfortable. However, on the final night our immediate neighbor was very loud and inconsiderate. We were unable to sleep until about 2:00 am due to their loud noise. Also, there was no hot water on our last morning, and no staff to assist. So, we washed our faces and brushed our teeth in cold water and headed out tired from lack of sleep, showering after we got home 7 hours later.

I was recently on a holiday with my friends , we stayed there for about a week , let me tell you , the WORST week of my life. We reserved the best two suites , we payed a load of money and then when we go there , surprise surprise , our rooms are taken and we have to use really bad ones with no compensation whatsoever. Okay , fine , we close our eyes for that , but after our stay , the manager Hose i think was his name (very mean this one) said we owe them 200 dollars additional pay... Everybody was so rude , the food was disgusting , and the rooms...cockroaches EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!! DON'T GO THERE!!!!!!!!

The rooms seem dated. The mattress and pillows are worn. Room did not get cleaned despite multiple requests. But worst of all is that no one answers the phone or returns voicemails. Want to talk to staff? Need to stand in the lobby and get lucky. The weekend shows at the venue make me want to cry; despite all their marketing efforts including flyers, unsolicited texts, emails, etc., I only saw artists performing to one table with 2-3 people and another person at the bar
