We were really looking forward to our first visit to Pat’s. Overall we were underwhelmed even though we wanted to like it due to close proximity. Kudos to the bus boy who killed it! Otherwise, we entered to an empty hostess stand and took awhile until someone finally appeared. First impression with the food was cold, store bought slices of Italian bread with cold hard to spread butter, where is the oil in an Italian restaurant? Our appetizer was arancini which was excellent and the highlight of the entire meal. Dressings on both the Caesar salad and garden salad (Parmesan) were weak flavor. Chicken on the Alfredo should be grilled not fried. My veal Milanese was average, a little greasy. With so many excellent Italian options around, likely not to return. Parking very tight, full. Wish we had better to report.

Today I dined in with my fiance and we had Linda as a waitress. We have been here many times before, but she is truly the best. She was extremely attentive and sweet. Hoping to get her again the next time we come back. Can’t recommend this place enough, especially the chicken sorrento with pink vodka sauce.

My niece and husband wanted to treat us to a nice restaurant so we tried Pat’s in Johnston tonight. It was a big mistake and none of us will ever return. Out of the four meals, only one was good. My niece’s chicken was dry and over lemon flavored. My husband’s baked fish was not fresh or tender at all. He sent that back to the kitchen and got thin burnt eggplant instead. My own eggplant dish was not tasty and swimming in sauce. We were highly disappointed. Although the manager came to our table after asking for him and made amends for my husband’s meal, we were all so turned off by the time we left, we will not consider returning. On top of that, the restaurant was freezing cold inside!

How can this place have no reviews? The best Italian around! Portions are crazy big. I get 3 meals from one plate. Stuffed mushrooms are the best! Service is very good. Cocktails are great. We eat here often.

Shaun was our server and he was friendly and personable our service was the best. The food was outstanding. It was my first time here but certainly not my last.
