Avoid this store if at all possible.
The store's transformation under the new ownership appears to have been quite drastic and negative, resulting in the deterioration of its once positive image as a small town convenience store. The removal of essential features like the kitchen, ATM, and ice cream machine, along with the lack of effort to restock the shelves, has likely led to a significant decline in customer satisfaction and convenience. The store's overall appearance and offerings seem to have deteriorated, as indicated by the description of it becoming a "dust bowl of its former self." This kind of change can have a negative impact not only on the store's reputation but also on the community's perception of the business and its role within the town.

The store has been sold to new owners and is changing a lot, but in a good way, they offer a menu online (slice) for ordering , or you could call and always you can walk in and order. The staff is always friendly and busy. The new owner has been adding a lot of new grocery items. Tons of snack options including fresh baked goods, and a beer cave with a large selection of alcohol. Reasonable prices on everything in store , even the tobacco, wraps, rolling papers arnt gunna break the bank. You should definitely stop in if you go by.

I have been ordering food from here for years. Just went to order a pizza and apparently they closed the kitchen? This store has next to nothing at any given time. This store has gone downhill ever since the new owners took over, with are the same people that own the redemption center in Newport. Can’t believe they would buy this store and close the kitchen. Not happy.

I have ordered twice from them, both times on Slice. The first time it was 10 minutes after our order was supposed to be ready, not a huge deal but got the order home and the fried pickles were slimy and the mozzarella sticks were soggy, both were inedible. Decided to give it a second try as everyone has a bad day, and today I ordered at 5:25 pm. Slice said my order would be ready by 6:05. I arrived at 6:05 to find my order hadn't even been started and it would be another 20 minutes before it was ready. The whole point behind fast food and ordering out is so it is ready when you arrive.

I ordered 2 small sandwiches, 1 steak and cheese bomb(which was very good), and a roast beef and cheese with lettuce and slightly warmed ( which was discusting)
The roast beef was like shoe leather and didn't even look edible. I didn't dare eat it. For the price I paid, I am not very happy. I also ordered onion rings and they were ok.

Refused to sell me cigs even with proof of identification that proved i was old enough to purchase then becaus3 i “ looked younger then in my picture” i can say that i look younger because my picture was taken days after given birth and i was still bloated. By far one of the worst staff ive seen go threw there. Wont be going back👎🏻

Fantastic service..... food this time around weren't so good... For over 30 dollars would've been nice if I could've eaten it!.... The food has always been much better...I Ordered supper because I was too tired from the busy day. Definitely a let down.

Really gone down hill since new owners took over no improvements just getting worse just save yourself the time and go to Newport it will never be like it used to they should just sell it to people who know what they are doing they are barley ever open
