I ordered 2 burgers with provolone cheese, fries. One burger with everything except onion. The second one I specifically said everything PLUS and grilled mushrooms & Onions. Not hard to screw up a burger....
Both burgers had american cheese, got one with Onion rings, had to send that back. The other burger did have the grilled onions and mushrooms..... but that was it!! I'm pretty sure it doesn't take a college degree to cook a burger. That's one of the reason we stopped going a few years..looks like nothing has changed !!!!!!

Can't go wrong with this place. The food you get for the price you pay is always worth it. We love the first responder atmosphere combined with the fireplace and small town feel. We ordered a large pizza with onions and mushrooms and were not disappointed. We went for lunch and most of the parking out front unfortunately had 1.5 hour limits, which I think is kinda new (meters). We will be back for sure!

Perfect place to go after snowboarding at nearby Liberty! The hot crab dip with house made Old Bay tortilla/pita chips (not too crispy) hit the spot and made our taste buds so happy. My boyfriend’s shrimp salad on white bread was just perfect. I loved my fried oysters on a bun. I was surprised how packed the sandwich was! Good filling to bread ratios here. lol And YES, get the onion rings. The batter and fry is perfect. We also enjoyed the crispy skin on the wings and the carrot cake is YUM! Loved the super laid back vibe. Great value for your dollar. Kitchen was solid on this busy Monday night. Servers were working hard, so don’t forget to tip generously! We will be back!

Our favorite wings out of anywhere else. A fantastic family run restaurant that does all the little things right. The Maryland Crab Soup is one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend a stop through Otts!

Very interesting atmosphere , and inexpensive but good food. Get the onion rings (not the fries), and sit by the fire. There was a sign indicating they were short-staffed, but although the restaurant was busy, we had really excellent, prompt service. We're not out that way often, but I'd go again...and not get the fries (everything else really was great!).

This is a popular place to eat in Emmittsburg, MD. It is in the center of downtown right on the main drag (Rt 140) and easy to find as at is near an intersection.

It is a hang out for the faculty and kids of Mount St Marys College. You could also bump into people from the National Fire Academy. So that in itself tells you the atmosphere of the place.

We went on a Saturday a couple weeks ago (mid January). It wasn't crowded at all as we were able to grab a table right away. The staff was friendly and helpful when we talked with them. If we had more time, I would have done a few games of pool. I was enamored by all the patches and coins they had on the walls. Speaking of coins, they sell there own version (see pics) which I got for my son who is overseas now.

Food was good and very diverse in what they offer. We got the Crab Dip with Chips and really downed that before our main food arrived. My wife just got the Chili which she enjoyed. I got the Fried Oyster Sandwich as I haven't had one in decades - yummmm.

If in Emmittsburg and hungry, you muat stop here!
