I went to NEOC for a weekend snowmobile trip on 2/22. I was very impressed with the property, main building and cabins were perfect. Location is second to none, abutting Millinocket lake. The staff went above and beyond the Service we normally get. Alison was a great help booking our stay, Paige at the front desk was accommodating and delightful. Abby was our waitress for dinner both nights, one guy in our group is very picky, she was patient and spectacular. I can't wait to go back next year.

We ate at River Drivers and Knife Edge Brewing. Both meals were fabulous. The wildlife tour on the pontoon boat was a relaxing treat and special way to see the mountains from a different view. And speaking of views, I wish I had an event to use the new event center, the views are just spectacular!

Matt took us on an early morning boat tour and we cruised the lake and tributaries in search of wildlife! We found beaver, hawks and many more species of birds but not the elusive moose. Not for lack of trying. We were just a little late in the season, sadly. Matt shared tons of information with us about the area, the lake, local history and the local wildlife. The 3 hours went by in a flash. He was an excellent host and ensured we were warm and comfortable providing blankets and cocoa, too. Wonderful experience. Recommended for everyone!!

Myself and a group of ladies had a truly awesome time climbing Mount Katahdin with Tallie and Brandon! I could not recommend NEOC or these two guides more. Not only was communication and planning a breeze, we simply had so much fun. There was thunder, rain, sunshine, upset tummies, varying speeds in both the ascent and descent, and we hiked out in our headlamps and nothing was unsettling or unnerving with Tallie and Brandon as our guides. 10/10 and can't wait to adventure with them again!

I'm typically a solo hiker but wanted to have a guide and share my experience with someone when I hiked Katahdin. Tallie at New England Outdoor Center was the answer! She was responsive and kept in touch, provided details I needed to know, ahead of time and was a joy to hike with. She was knowledgeable about the terrain and I loved how she walked me through the views and what I was seeing. It was fun that she met many along the way who knew her, and I felt part of a tight knit community of rangers and guides along the way. I enjoyed her company and was thankful for her recommendation on the trails we ended up taking that day. When I was planning my ascent, I'm thankful that my search led me to New England Outdoor Center. Tallie was a true professional, experienced, warm and welcoming. I'm happy to have had this experience with her and look forward to hiking with her again in the future!

Exceeded all expectations! Lee gave us the best rafting experience imaginable. It rained the night before, an added bonus. The Sunday "Double Trouble" was unreal. It gave us a second chance to absolutely give the rapids everything we had! Absolutely felt safe, even when out of the boat. They gave our group a amazing memory we'll share forever. Went for mt God daughters wedding. OMG, beautiful spot! The event coordinator ( Julie) Was fabulous as was the rest of the staff.
