The tick-borne illness protocol Myerowitz Chiropractic uses is a good protocol; however, how it is administered in this office can have very bad effects on your body. I was diagnosed and treated for four tick-borne illnesses and three other illnesses ALL at the same time by this office. I went from working full time and being able to function to being stuck in bed 18-20 hours a day and unable to work. My pain level and brain fog became extreme. I was falsely told this would not last, so I went with the flow.

After several very long months, I learned of another practice closer to my home that uses the DesBio protocol, so I made the swap. The first thing my new doctor told me was that she would have never started me (or anyone) on more than two treatments at a time, and under no circumstances should seven treatments be done at the same time. Due to how far into the treatment I was, she helped me complete it instead of stopping or slowing down.

I could not work for three years, and when I returned to work, it took several months to build up to working full-time. I am four years out from the start of my treatment with Myerowitz Chiropractic, and I am still dealing with the effects this treatment caused. I went through a separate year-long treatment from May of 2022 to June of 2023 that helped my body detox gently. If it were not for this additional treatment, I likely would still not be able to work.

The moral of my story isn’t that I don’t recommend this office or the treatment protocol they offer. My reason for posting this review is to caution unsuspecting people to do their own research and decide how many treatments they are comfortable doing at the same time. I wish I had.

Why post this review four years later? I am a member of several Facebook groups supporting people with tick-borne illnesses, and someone asked the question of where to go for treatment. Myerowitz Chiropractic was one of the names given, so I shared my honest experience. As soon as I did, others mentioned they had the same/similar experience with Myerowitz. When I went to their Google Business page, I didn’t see anyone who had articulated their experience or posted a caution.

Go there with vague symptoms... you have Lyme disease. Why do you have Lyme disease? So he can sell you $3k worth of “holistic” potions. It’s a tragedy people fall for this.
