If you are ever in the mood for authentic, colorful, and delightfully flavorful Indian food, you must take the time to make a stop at Mother India in Lewiston, Maine to indulge in their flavors. Every dish is freshly made and two of my favorites are Nav Rattan Korma (so many veggies and oh so good--->picture included) as well as Mango Chicken!

The family and the staff at Mother India go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. Every time I have had an opportunity to taste a dish from Mother India, I am always impressed with the quality and plentiful portions! I love having leftovers to bring to work with me the next day 🙂

Absolutely great food of culture. Absolutely love this place. If you've never had this place go check them out. Great quality food, I promise you'll love it. Huge menu of choices, and if your about spices this is your place.

Take out only, but warm, welcoming service and atmosphere when you come pick up your meal. The Samosas are DIVINE, in my opinion they can cure a bad day. Wishing them success and a fruitful new year. Delicious food!!!!

Excellent recommendation of the lamb curry from the lunch menu! The Garlic Nan was like an appetizer/ bread with the meal/ desert all in one dish, just depends on which chutney you use 🙂
The Taj Mahal lager went well with all of it!

Although, closed but for takeout, our experience at Mother India was wonderful. The staff was very welcoming and we were able to order while we waited outside. The food was delicious and very flavorful. If I could rate this as six stars I would!

One of my favorite restaurants! I love ❤️ the buffet because I can try a little of everything. If you like mango I highly recommend these mango lassi drink. Also, family that runs the restaurant is so polite and kind. Vegetarian options!
