Went early on sat and luckily no line formed yet, only about 5 min wait. Found parking spot at the pier as well. Sat at the table in the back area past the small bar. Beauful view of Narragansett beach! Perfect spot for unfussy and casual summer day lunch. Price however is seasonal and not 'casual' as one might expect for quick bite at a shack.
Lobster rolls were huge, with lots of meat, natural flavor, but bland with not really any seasoning, and Meats all broken rather than big chucks and a bit dry. $27. 99
Clam strips come in half or 1 pint, fried fresh, but very very tiny pieces. $23.99 for pint.
I might return for drinks and the view.

Came here because I was in the area and craving clam chowder. It was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. It's a lovely spot, with a straightforward solid menu, good service, solid food, and parking available (although limited when busy but you can figure it out).

We got the while clam chowder and a cold lobster roll. The prices and size for prices are standard, but the food is solid. I would recommend both. Next time I would get the clam chowder again, try a hot lobster roll, some other items on the menu (maybe a special), would leave room for ice cream, and would stay to eat in the back area. It's such a quaint area and good vibe.

Waited to order in the rain. Was so worth it!
Food was delicious. Service was streamlined. For beer, they have RI Whalers and Chair 2 beer. There is also ice cream in back. We left with happy bellies.

A must visit when in Narragansett for sure. All the food is amazing I’ve been here so many times. This last visit the ahi tuna nachos were spectacular and swordfish tacos are always excellent.

Monaghan's was a lovely way to celebrate a beautiful end of summer day. They caution that parking could be difficult but we easily found a space when someone left. Staff was friendly and efficient. The food was fresh and excellent. I had fried scallops and my friend ordered the whole clams and clam cakes. Everything was great served in a pavilion with a perfect view of the ocean. Hoping to go back again!

Great place. First time visiting. One hour wait was worth it. Very fresh catch. I tried a fish taco, fish n chips, shrimp basket with onion rings, kids had lobster rolls and clam chowder. So basically got to try everything including orange soda and ice cream. Neatly maintained. It started raining but the huge umbrella was a life saver. We had a huge group. The scenic ocean view when eating was good. Including the fireplace that was lit gave great vibes. Kids and humans of all ages had a wonderful time.
