Glad we finally have a moby dick. However, why is the bread SO bad? I remember driving to Germantown for moby dick partially because the bread was made in house in their special oven. You could see them rolling it. Now, it reminds you of pizza crust you get in lunchables. Nothing like it was before. Seems super mass produced. Please bring back the old bread!
Best thing on menu is the chicken kabob. I think it’s called joojeh. It’s grilled and has a very nice marinade. Get half salad/ half rice and it is a really good amount of food.
The “pickled” garlic is very weird for my taste. They don’t take the skins off and it just seems like it’s garlic with like a balsamic vinegar poured on it. When I picked one a bit into it with the skin it was just so strange. It also has a flavor I can’t describe. I wouldn’t get it again.
Sumac fries are just fries with some sumac sprinkled on top. They are always so mushy. Have to be reheated in air fryer or pan.
All their sauces are also now mass produced at some location it seems - all are foil packed, etc. I think that’s good for safety but before it was all made in house.
I guess this is what happens when it chains out to many many restaurants.

This establishment went above and beyond my expectations! Staff was super friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was fresh and packed with flavor! Huge portions at a very reasonable price.

Today, we went to Moby's Frederick location. We ordered the Family Meal #1. They let us sub for all chicken due to dietary restrictions. We got a ton of food for $49.00. It's such a great deal. Our order was half rice and half salad. We also got an appetizer choice. We chose dolmas and baklava. It also came with bread and a cucumber dip. Now we don't need to go grocery shopping and the cooking is done for several days. It is all absolutely delicious. Definitely a got to for delicious and quick meals with a focus on quality ingredients and freshness.

Fantastic Mediterranean restaurant, been eating Moby’s for years and since the grand opening of this restaurant earlier this year.

The food has always been juicy and delicious, and the presentation is great no matter if I buy it in a to-go container or big platter. Love the rice and tomatoes too.

On rare occasions I have had to come back to ask for bread or sauce that should have come with the order, but they do easily give it when requested.

I have been a loyal customer of Moby Dick restaurants and have shopped at various locations without any problems. However, my experience at the Frederick location was disappointing. The lady with the glasses at the register repeatedly changed the prices and names of items to overcharge me, especially on daily and frozen food items. This is not my first time shopping at Moby Dick, so I know the usual prices.

Overcharging customers - whether intentional or unintentional - is unacceptable. Transparency and honesty in pricing are crucial to customer trust. I hope management addresses this issue to ensure fair pricing and better service. Until then, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Went here for a late lunch on a Sunday and the service was friendly and efficient...had a family platter and the meat was very flavorful...not dry like some kabobs can be...liked the sauces as well. A little pricey compared to other kabob joints but can't complain because everyone, including the kids, enjoyed the food.

The food here isn’t bad by any means but it’s quite overpriced relative to the quality. I ordered a kebab combo with falafel and a fountain drink which came to almost $30 before tip. The kebab and rice were good but the falafel was frozen and reheated and lacked flavor, the bread also didn’t appear to be freshly made and the sauces were in prepackaged single serving plastic containers.

Great food, with authentic flavors. I'm a gyro fan, this place delivered and large portion sizes too. The hummus was unexpectedly great. Would recommend. I'll be back.
