Before Booking, make sure to ask them about their policy. I made an appointment to get my hair done, was told to put down a deposit. I placed my deposit down, then cancelled my appointment before 72 hours, which is a reasonable time frame to cancel an appointment. A staff member did not disclose/tell me that the deposit was non-refundable. Decided to tell me AFTER I made my deposit that it was non refundable. I spoke to them on the phone, the hairstylist was rude and snappy towards me. Would not recommend as I feel manipulated and deceived. She kept insisting the policy was the policy, when she did NOT inform me of this “policy” highly unprofessional and unorganized. Hung up the phone mid conversation. Would not go here with out knowing or discussing the POLICY!

I want to give a huge compliment to Jane the owner of this salon. She was very patient with my daughter’s hair who hasn’t had any type of braiding in many years. Also very affordable. My daughter loved her style! Thank you Jane!

Really great and friendly environment. I’m very confused at the other reviews saying the staff is rude. I in 19 years of my life have NEVERR had my hair twisted or braided. I went in completely clueless as to what I wanted and they quickly got me in a chair detangling and twisting my hair. The price was great and the service was quick. I’ll be coming here for a while

Honestly this place is a hit or miss. Most of the time the braider will be running late by an hour+, when you individually look at each braid they are so choppy from poor scissoring technique and different sizes. Braiders are extremely rough on your hair (and I’m not even tender headed). Sometimes you could show a picture of what you wanted and they just do whatever they want to do, while overcharging you still! I give up 😩

I had the WORSE experience EVER with a hair braiding salon. I scheduled the appointment based on a referral from my sister and the price of the style. I made an appointment with this salon on Monday April 19th the call was placed at 8:37pm. The appointment was for noon on April 21st, but she told me to come at 11:30am. I get there and she says I told you to come at noon. I said you told me to come at 1130am. I wait for 30 minutes while she finishes the client she is working on. Then she started on me at noon. The owner/stylist started 29 kinky twists on my hair then stopped. Another client walked in to get goddess braids (two big braids) and she started and finished her. While that is happening her assistant finished the 29 twists and then stopped. After waiting 2hrs 10mins I went to get food. I called my sister to say I might be there all day and I didn't plan on it. I decided to give up on getting my hair done today.
I don't mind the lengthy process of getting my hair done. I mind waiting a lengthy time when I showed up on time for my appointment. Instead of just ghosting them I said I no longer wanted to wait and was leaving. The owner proceeded to yell and scream saying I won't be there all day that it takes 5hrs to do kinky twists while doing another clients hair. Her assistant began to say it would be the same thing at a nail salon. ( I have never been to a nail salon that started the process of working on me then had me waiting for two hours while they worked on other clients that were late or arrived after me.) She then tells me I need to pay her for her time. I refused because although she did start my hair she did not complete the service I came to her for. She proceeded to follow me out to my car tapping on my window telling me I cannot leave without paying.
My sister came and called the police to see if I had an legal rights. While waiting for the police we told the owner I'd be back once the police calls me.. The owner proceeded to yell and scream that I could not leave. She had her assistant chase us and take pictures of our license plates. After leaving she called the cops to say that I stole from her. After speaking with the police I had to pay $40 for 29 kinky twists that I am taking down. Don't waste money here! The entire business is unprofessional, not following any covid policies (she wore her mask hanging from her ear the entire time), very rude, terrible customer service. If she had better customer service it wouldn't have gotten this far.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MOMEY GOING HERE! This was the worst hair braiding experience I’ve ever had. I get my hair braided a minimum of two times a year. Unfortunately my stylist that I having been using for the last 16 years retired. So I decided to try this place close to the new home I just purchased. Big Mistake! My appointment was at 12:30pm. When I arrived Jane was in the middle of doing someone else hair and had someone waiting. Jane said she was running behind. I asked if I should come back, I could go take care of some errands instead of just sitting doing nothing. Especially since the other stylists openly voiced that there “name was Bennett and they were not in it”, when I walked in. I came back 2 hours later and she still asked me to wait. After waiting another hour someone walked in and started my hair. Before she started I made it clear that I wanted my passion twist long. When she showed me the hair being used I stated that the hair did not look long enough. She said it would be once she takes it out of the pack. Jane ensured me that the passion twist would be long. She said I have long hair and the length would be longer than my natural hair. She also asked verified that I knew that twist would be curly. I let her know that I was aware of the style of passion twist and that is what I wanted. The stylist that completed my passion twist did so in a quick manner, but they were short. Even shorter than my natural hair length.I stated that I was ensured they would long, she said it’s because it’s curly. I have been getting braids, twist, and passion twist for years and advised her that passion twist can be made long. Then she said I said it was okay. This was total waste of my off day. SO I WARN YOU AGAIN, DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MOMEY GOING HERE!
