The very bad and old food, the rice dishes do not taste like anything, the soups are more water than substances.

Mizu was appropriately done! Conscientious chef who ensured our happiness by displaying his exquisite culinary skills on the grill. Salmon,scallops, steak , vegetables mouth watering. Ultra polite service. We will visit again . Thank you for excellence.

I've been to this restaurant a few times before and always enjoyed my meal. Food and service were top notch. This last time I can't say the same. We arrived at the restaurant well before closing time but the place was completely empty. We were promptly shown to a table and greeted by our server. It took quite a while to get our drinks and we were ready to order when they were delivered. My dining companion ordered sushi and I ordered the hibachi chicken. I've ordered that before. We also ordered a couple of appetizers. Everything pretty much came at the same time which was fine for the gentleman I was dining with as his main course was cold but I wasn't thrilled. I quickly ate the appetizer and then got to my entree. The chicken was cold, dry and tasteless. Unfortunate. I generally don't like sending food back so I just picked at my food and took home the leftovers to see if I could resuscitate them. I couldn't. What really bothered me was that our server seemed to completely forget about us. Could not get another drink, and processing payment took way too long. I worked in restaurants for many years so I get it that you want to clean up and get out but I never made my guest suffer because of it. Everyone should get the same food and service no matter when they arrive. If you don't want to take care of your late tables then close early. I'll probably give them another shot as my friend does like the sushi there. I'm hoping the management reads this review and corrects the problem.

Awesome food! Was there with my workmates and we had a great time. All the hibachi combinations were delicious. The hibachi chef was great in his performance. The egg toss to the hat was a surprise. You can’t go wrong with this place.

Overall my evening spent at Mizu was pretty decent. They offer habachi as well as dinner (sushi, miso soup etc.) It is a very large restaurant. The servers were fairly helpful and attentive. But it was very loud because of the habachi side, and didn’t spend to much time “dining” but rather hearing people yell with excitement. It could be fun, if thats what you are going for but there is not much elegance/peace to this restaurant. The sushi was good, though i had a shrimp shell which didn’t both me but still. Miso soup was tasty but small, yet since it’s a side i can understand that. I have to say, the salad was incredible! Not going to lie, probably the best salad dressing i’ve ever had. I also ordered a pina colada but couldn’t drink much because it wasn’t blended well. I’m being critical only to inform others of my experience! It was good however, price is right, i’d go again.

Loose rolls with very little rice.
Everything was bland and basic. Green tea had lots of mushy leaves in it. GROSS!

I hesitated as this was a hibachi grill. I am happy to say the sushi was good. Read other reviews and people complain about the lack of rice on the rolls, I am ok with that as too much rice might disguise other flavors. Pleasantly surprised, sushi was prepared at lightning speed and it was good. I would only suggest that the staff sitting at tables is a bit of an odd vibe. As it was a slow evening stepping up the personal touches could improve atmosphere.
