I just was switched to this practice, and I have been pretty pleasantly surprised with them so far. My doctor, Tiffany, has been great. Although, it takes a while to get through to anyone. I had called in a prescription yesterday, and did not hear anything. So after waiting for 30 minutes today to get through after an RN had transferred me, I was speaking to Cindy. Cindy was extremely rude, and told me she had no idea when to expect my script filled. As I was getting upset, at her tone and inability to tell me when I could expect this, she magically was able to send a request to my doctor as a high priority. Not sure why that couldn’t happen at the beginning. After having a really bad experience with topsham family medicine, I’m bummed that the same thing is happening here. As for Cindy, when people are waiting for answers that impact their health, maybe you should find more empathy and less irritation.

My provider was ready to help with an ongoing health issue, even though I'd never seen her before. She jumped in with both feet and helped me obtain the goal I wanted to reach. It's been several months since we first started working together and she has been following up with my progress regularly. I appreciate the entire staff. They are kind, courteous and thoughtful

Having made an appointment 5 months ago with this practice I responded to a reminder, showed up 15 minutes early as requested and stepped up to the window to check in. Only to be told that my provider was out practicer today and a message had been left on my phone advising me of this.

Stating that I had never received such a message and asking for the date of the call, the person then had to admit that the call had never taken place to inform me.

I had read about the dismal running of this office, but I made the decision to give them a chance. Looks like I should have acted on the warnings of others. CMMC should be advised and seek a professional and competent office manager for this location. I can’t comment on the provider(s) because I have yet to see one and now it will be a wait of 6 months. St Mary’s is looking more inviting by the minute.

UPDATE: Positive in nature. 2/11/2025
I have been seen twice since I wrote the above review. Both time by wonderful, efficient, and highly professional providers. I have determined that I will stay with the Minot Ave. practice for the following reasons.
1.After writing the first review the office manager called me to discuss my experience. She was both understanding, wanting to make sure the situation was successfully addressed, and was willing to make any accomodations that might be possible. A big plus!
2. My provider of record Tiffanie Thoman FP has been wonderful. Actively focused on my needs and concerns, and communicating with me and my other practitioners in a timely manner.
3. My 2nd vist was with Dr. Taylor may be in the process of joining the practice (MS Thoman was unavailable) who was able to see me the day I called. Great visit with an effective medication prescribed for a bacterial pneumonia.
4.The nursing and office staff have been supportive, friendly and effective.
5. The fact that there is an onsite lab, where immediate tests can be completed and or schedule is a huge asset and convienence.

Hopefully things will continue to be positive.

Worst Healthcare alls they do is send you to the emergency. That is just cold. You want to be a doctor with a heart. Start by caring. I would never recommend this office. The are timed on how long you can be seen. Just cold.

They refused to refill my very necessary medication I’ve been on 20 years and revoked my patient status because I told them I couldn’t afford to pay for a check up visit they said was “required “ to refil my prescription. Dangerous money hungry people

Watch out! look at what your insurance coverage allows. The last 2 visits they tried to charge me and mt son for covered annual visits. They said because we talked to the Dr. It's above what is covered and are allowed to collect. I wonder how many times and people they are pulling this with. Just beware, that is if you can get an appointment because they keep canceling. Time to look for a new Dr.

I have been there close to 12 years now. Pam is always ready to fill out paperwork or just answer a question. Dr. L is the absolute best doctor I have ever had. He takes his time to explain everything I ask. When he feels I need a second option he sends me immediately. Second options have never taken more then three weeks to be seen.Even if I prefer to see a CMMC Doctor back when the offices couldn't talk back and forth to each other. Example I went to see a St Mary's doctor and he and his staff were rude and there was no working with them he and Pam found a great doctor who made sure my doctor got his notes every time I saw this doctor. I don't know how many people I have suggested over the years. The office is awesome and I would not change. If he ever left there I would follow him were ever he went.
