Dr John is great very knowledgeable, takes the time to listen and discuss options and side effects but his staff is equally amazing ! From the checkin staff to checking out , Monique the at check out always brightens your day!! I wish we could clone this entire office they’re amazing

We saw Dr John M, with a cat scan of stage 4 cancer and a PSA of 1084. He’s a big alpha male,that didn’t ask us about our concerns, told us he could give my husband 2 yrs and we can chemically castrate you but if you’d like we can take you in and surgically castrate you if you’d like. I guess that was supposed be humorous. I will say the ladies at the front office were super friendly.

I give a 0 to this clinic. They don't call for cancelations until you get in the clinic. They lost my referral the first time and never call. This places is bad. Don't come here find other place but not in here.

I cancelled because they sent me a bill before I even had my appointment. And after I cancelled I got another bill again.

Had litho on Tuesday with dr Bryson. Kidney stone was stuck in ureter and they would not do anything for me. Sent me to ER and would not authorize an X-ray before my follow up date. This practice does not care about you. Also when you call the office expect to be on hold for 40 min before someone answers.

Edited to add: Guess Meritus Urology doesn't give a crap what I think - they've asked for feedback from every other negative review that I've read so far. Ha! Must've made myself plain right here! That works! 😁

Negative rating if possible! They were excruciatingly rude, the doc (thought he was the lab tech - the REAL lab tech was SO nice) told me I had something serious sounding and then mumble-mouthed what it was called and finally (VERY rudely) told me to ask the ladies at the checkout desk what it was (as in, explaining what it was all about, what it was, etc.) and they're office personnel!! I (supposedly) paid a Dr to explain such things!! I DO have something quite serious wrong w/ me - and they never bothered telling my doc that OVER TWO YEARS AGO!!! Now I need surgery I should have had months ago. It's the same old tune - the only doc in the area that takes my insurance, I'm stuck w/ him now...... *sigh*

Not at all pleased with the clerical/nursing staff. Have called 6 times for various reasons and my average wait time just for someone to answer the phone has been 15 minutes. Had a post operative issue which I wanted to discuss with my followup appt physician. Left a voicemail with the physician's nurse but no one has returned my call.

Thankfully we were able to find out what the office was really made early enough.
Although it caused problems, we now have a quality office to handle a very terrible news we received earlier this month. The patient was seen twice before being told , after a discharge from the hospital they would not see him and refused treatment. Left hanging in Middle of cancer treatment and needed follow up treatment after hospitalization and now looking for another urologist.
And wonder why you have to leave Hagerstown. The doctors may be great, but the front end staff and the administrator was of no help and very rude hanging up on the conversation, not letting us explain. Please be aware.
