This has been my regular location for yearly checkups and I've never had a single issue here. Checkin is smooth and the people at the front desk are pleasant. Wait time is usually up to 15 minutes in the lobby but everything else is rather smooth once brought back to the room.

I met with Dr. George on 1/2/24 with a long list of concerns. Let me say this was only the second time I met with him and he is not my primary Doctor. He listened to every concern, presented with such great knowledge on every area of treatment, and reviewed with me everything we spoke about. He even took the time to message me, after work hours, to make sure my medication was correct. I could not have asked for better patient care. KUDOS Dr. George - Hands down you are one of the most amazing, compassionate, and skilled Doctors I have met.

Been going here for many years. My doctor left and met the new doctor. Went ok and ordered labs. Did not hear from her for two months. Than came back to do more labs and there was a problem I saw thru My Chart. She has yet to call me to explain and it's been almost a month. Communication is terrible.

I had one appointment in August of last year. I got the bill. I paid it. You would think that would be the end of it. But no! They decided they didn't bill me enough, so they billed me again. It was coded incorrectly according to my doctor. I appealed it. They ignored me. All they did was re-send me the same bill over and over and over until I relented and paid it. Silly me, I thought that would be the end of it! But now 5 months after my appointment they reviewed a second time and decided they still didn't bill me enough. So now I have a third bill asking for more payment for the same service. No itemization. Just "pay us." My doctor was absolutely lovely, but I cannot afford to pay 3 or more times for the same service. When will it end? If I pay this are they just going to do the same thing in a couple of months?

Deserves recognition!!!! I’ve been seeing Dr. Tohme for several years now! He is hands down one amazing doctor! He is most always on time, thorough, kind and listens. He is always professional and very prompt on MyChart as well as his nurses! My elderly father also see Dr. Tohme and again he is wonderful to him and patient. Due to such negativity in the world I wanted to add some positivity and share my experiences and thank the staff as well! Also pretty and clean facility always appreciated!

My doctor of 15 years left the practice, and I wasn't notified; I only found out because I called about a med refill and was told that not only was she gone, but I would also be considered a new patient, and if I didn't make an appt soon, all my med refills would be cancelled andni wouldnt be able to get back in! It took multiple transfers and admin assistants telling me wrong info before I finally was able to make an appt. Now I finally have one, and I've been waiting in the room 45 minutes. I can hear people talking and laughing next door; glad they have nowhere to be, but I do, and this unnecessary appt to talk about meds I've been on for 10 years is making me late for work. The nurse was rude when she dumped me here, left the room without speaking, and hasn't checked back since. I can't wait to find a new practice. No wonder all the doctors keep leaving.

I have been a patient with this office for many years, I followed my doctors from WhiteOak, they recently left this office and I am having a lot of problems getting medication refilled that I have been taking for many years. Doctors are supposed to help you not make you suffer without your medications for days. Meritus has the worst primary care offices I have ever dealt with.

This practice has no common sense, professionalism, or medical knowledge.
1. It is a constant battle for medication refills that have taken over 3 days to approve the request and weeks to correct because they've been sent to the wrong pharmacy, which is not even the requested pharmacy I've selected.
2. I was unable to see my normal provider for a medication check due to timing differences and my provider works part-time, so the office staff suggested scheduling me with a different provider to handle the med check. I followed their direction however 3 weeks later I submitted on MyChart for a refill of medications and after 3 days I was denied because I didn't see my normal provider. While speaking on the phone with a staff member they asked if they could schedule me with my provider. I said no, I am not coming in to pay you $25 copay for something I JUST did 3 weeks ago.
3. I asked for letterhead documentation of my diagnosis several times to submit for a 504 plan and was only met with what I was diagnosed with in our exchange of MyChart messages. When I verbalized that a MyChart message was not sufficient evidence enough for a 504 plan that I needed a letterhead I was met with absolute stupidity and the staff didn't understand.

Please, take your medical concerns elsewhere. This practice used to be so good. Allison Freeman is an absolute doll. However, the staff and the practice have just gone downhill and they hire people with no common sense or experience. Don't waste your time.
