Melinda is an incredible waitress and human being. We’ve been excited to try Maven’s since before they opened and we finally got the opportunity. Melinda made our entire experience amazing from start to finish. She made recommendations, talked us through the menu and took care of us like we were royalty. The food was phenomenal. This was the best corned beef sandwich I’ve ever had. EVER! Thank you Melinda, for the special experience today ❤️ can’t wait to come back!

I looooove this place!! My waitress Melinda made it an unforgettable experience. I actually hugged her at the end of my meal 😂 She provided service above & beyond anything you could ask/hope for. Just a wonderful helpful kind woman who is great at her job & makes you feel right at home 🙂 wish the industry had more servers like Melinda. The complimentary pickles & coleslaw right from the start are actually delicious unlike most complimentary food. The beef knish I ordered was to die for. The sweet tangy sauce, the potato/corned beef/pastrami filling, topped with brisket!!! I was in heaven. The fries are really good too. Something about the oil they use I think. I was dipping them in the applesauce that came with my latkes 😋 I had some pastrami from my boyfriends half and half Reuben… that stuff was craaaaaaaaazy. It was all just insanely good. I was really impressed with the food, the service, and the environment. Can’t wait to return!

Came for lunch. Waited for our meal to come out, BUT it was well worth the wait. The food and the service were phenomenal! Highly recommend and we will be back.

One of only Jewish delis in R.I., so really looked forward to it. Only ok. Coffee and potatoes lukewarm. Lox/eggs/onion lacked matzo that should make it pancake like (David’s in San Francisco style). Onion bagel great but not fully buttered. Pastrami/cheese omelette just ok. No fluff and small amount of pastrami. Had to go all the way back to get the hot coffee. Server not trained to follow up and ask if all ok. Also doesn’t know how to carry more than 2 plates. Overall, disappointed.

I’m a huge fan of Katz’s in NYC and have been searching for that experience elsewhere. This pastrami reuben is the closest I’ve gotten, the meat was excellent and staff were friendly. We’ll be back!

Well when you walk in it looks like a throwback to a 50's style eatery very cool seating on left for dine in and the deli on your left with some tasty dessert treats in a case on that side as well. (I will get to those at the end) our waitress was Melinda and she was hysterical and awesome. She asked if it was our first time dining there and when we said yes - she said well you couldn't ask for better a Jewish deli and you're being Waite's in by a Jewish woman! Then she said do you like pastrami? Let me get you started: as she brought over 2 heaping plates with 2 types of house made pickles and a coleslaw that was so light and non-mayo based - delicious. Then she said: oh I know what you need latkes. Ever had em No we both reply- you will love em she said. So then she brings over the Latkes with sour cream and applesauce? i know what your thinking applesauce- but it made the Latkes so tasty! Then she said what about your meal- I recommend the Pastrami Ruben - I piped up and said yes! Not for the wife though. And Beth said can I have the Chicken Schnitzel? Well let me tell you. Pastrami Ruben - delicious!!! Chicken Schnitzel was HUGE and delicious- the wife could only eat a quarter of it. Thanks for a great dining experience- we shall be back when visiting our daughter and son-in-law!
Oh Almost forgot about the dessert case- wow (apologize forgot to get a pic) so much to choose from 3 or 4 kinds or Rugula, Black and white cookies (we call them half moons) - and the half moons actually have royal icing on them instead of frosting - which we love! Maybe it’s a New York thing🤣 so we got the raspberry Rugala and the black and white cookie -yum. Just a heads up the Rugala is really like a croissant… it was still tasty!

Our first but definitely not our last visit.
Brisket melts in your mouth, lattes cooked to perfection, potato knish also delicious as were the kreplach!!! Of course we had to take home half of our sandwich for a second meal. Wonderful selections of lunches/breakfast. Looking forward to trying liver pate to see if it can compare with Bubbe C’s. And we never found room to check out the large assortment of desserts. Well done !!👍

The food was good, but not a knock your socks off. I came out of the way to try this place. Don't think I will be trucking 40 minutes again.
