My son came over from Oklahoma and had a wonderful time with his fiance. We as a family go to malu lani for our special occasions. It is the most relaxing 😌 place in Lee County. If you're ever in the area and need a place to stay, malu lani Inn is the best place for your family.

Our wonderful week in Florida was complete by having discovered Malu Lani as our “home”. It was perfect! We had leisurely breakfasts, soaking in the beautiful view from the balcony. The kitchen and dining areas made it possible to prepare fresh caught shrimp from the local marina for supper. The owner Sharon, can direct you to local history, ferries, kayaking rentals, restaurants, nearby parks, shopping, ice cream, and any activities of interest. Malu Lani was EXCELLENT!!!

I'm almost reluctant to leave a review because I selfishly want it available for myself. The owners are incredibly courteous, friendly, and helpful. The units are clean and tastefully updated. The area is peaceful and especially entertaining by boat. If you stay at the Malu Lani in Bokeelia you will probably be back many times; it will not disappoint.

It is the best place in the area stay. First Sharon and David are the best host around. They keep Malu Lani inn very clean and well kept. And if you are a fisherman it is only 3 minutes off the harbor just east of Boca Grande pass. Home of the best tarpon fishing around the world 🌎. I would recommend that you stay at Malu Lani inn if you want a piecfull vacation on the water.

HUGE DISCLAIMER - NOTE ON FRIDGE "DO NOT COOK FISH INSIDE"! This note needs to be posted on their website BEFORE you make a reservation, hopefully others will read this, I mean this is a fishing village. Luckily (?) we found a deep frier in the kitchen and used an extension cord to plug in outside. Mosquitos and noseeums bit us up completely while trying to cook the dinner we caught.
Quiet area. Not 1 decent restaurant in Bokeelia, you need to go into Matlacha to have a decent meal. We would go back, but would have to save for a long time, pretty pricey for the accomodations.
