Edit for owner response: even going in event order, your contract states 2-6 weeks for alterations which would’ve had us at mid September, not the week of my wedding. That’s unacceptable. And yes for that style the legs hit correctly, we took you STRAIGHT leg pants to hit properly for straight leg pants at his shoes they need to be at least an inch and a half longer. We asked for his pants to be taken in some at the pocket/thigh outseam… you tapered the whole leg and changed the look of the whole suit in doing so. I understand in the photo tied to this his arms are at my waist level, even standing straight his sleeves are at least an inch too short. And the waist of his pants is still too large, that doesn’t even appear to have been worked on. I will not bring the suit back to you with 3 days to spare before my wedding…. I don’t trust that anything would get done to them and if it was there’s no way with your time management it would be done in time for our ceremony.

Beware, if you need alterations done by a certain date and hope to have a single ounce of good customer service or quality seamstress work done - do NOT use this business. We are getting married this weekend, my finance bought his suit in July & it needed some alterations. Since he had used make it yours for groomsman pants with a wedding party previously, he decided to use them for his suit alterations also. Bad decision. He took his suit for his drop off fitting on 7/29 and paid $144.52 on that date to have the alterations made. He was told the suit would be ready in September with a couple weeks to spare before the wedding - to account for any last minute changes needed etc. Well time goes by and were to the end of September. I called Sept 30th on my lunch break from work to inquire about the status of the suit. I was told “oh we have homecoming this weekend, but I think yours is next in line after we are done with that - he should get a text by the end of the week to come in for his fitting.” The week goes by and not a word from them… I call them Monday at 12:30 to ask for the status, to which I was told “oh I think that’s the one on my desk to do next.” I asked about coming the next day for the fitting (which would now be 4 days before the wedding) and was told “well let me just reach out when I finish because I have appointments already scheduled then.” At this point I decided we couldn’t wait for her to get her crap together and finish this suit, we would be picking it up from them that day regardless of what had been done to it. We go in to pick up the suit and ask for a refund, since the service was not completed by the promised time and the customer service had been entirely lacking. Alex (owner) rushes over to inquire why we want a refund, to which we respond that she’s had the suit for months and it still is not done. She states at that point that she texted us that morning to let us know it was finished, obviously a lie to fool what customers were in her lobby at the time, seeing as how I called her at 12:30pm that day and it wasn’t finished or being worked on at that time.

We collected the suit without refund and took it home. I am not sure what kind of rushed botch job she did but his suit is terrible. Inches short in the pants and arms of the coat. Now, since she took weeks beyond what was promised, we don’t have time to take it to a second alterations place or buy a new suit to have ready in time. If you’re getting married or have any kind of event coming up - spare yourself the heartache and money and go somewhere else. We are now not only out the $144.52 wasted dollars on these alterations, but also the $ spent on the suit since she altered everything inches too short. Horrible business practice and terrible customer service. Not only does it get a google review, but this will be reported to the better business bureau as well. Not exactly how I wanted to spend my wedding week.

Impressed. I brought the cheapest 3 piece suit on earth to Alex. I need it one time for my son's weeding. It needed the usual adjustments. Cuffs, suspenders, coat tweaking, etc. She made it fit me & look like an expensive combo. Can't say enough. Friendly & courteous everyone is. I now know where to go next time.

I needed a dress altered within a week, and this was this was during prom season. I called on a Friday, had an appointment for Saturday, and picked up the perfectly fitting dress on Monday. I did not mind the nominal rush fee one bit and appreciated the willingness of Make it Yours to fit me in and do such beautiful work.

Alex did a great job on my alterations on my bridesmaids dress. I ordered the dress online. It didn’t fit me so she had to do a lace up! She helped me out so much! I don’t know what I would of done if she couldn't fix it! It worked out that I don’t have to wear a bra & let’s just say I’m very top heavy so I’m so so happy how it turned out! I do recommend her! I live in Canton GA & she is worth the drive!! 🙂
