I have seen 3 different doctors here and all they do is push birthcontrol onto you. I have been having the same issues in my abdominal area for almost 2 years now and the only answers ive gotten were “possible” things, never given an actual diagnosis or answer to why i am in pain every day for 2 years

Although it says on their website that they care for high risk pregnancies they absolutely do not. I have a genetic condition that causes miscarriages typically in the first trimester. I tried to get in to see them early to get beta blood work done to check the pregnancy was progressing appropriately and to check progesterone and they flat out refused. They said “we don’t really do that.” I ended up paying out of pocket to order labs through a midwife because they wouldn’t. Once I got the results my hcg was good but my progesterone was very low like in all my pregnancies. I called them back to ask for a progesterone prescription and I got the run around again. I was told they didn’t believe it to be helpful in early pregnancy. Which is the opposite of what every doctor has ever told me over the course of all my pregnancies. They did finally write the prescription after a couple conversations. I’ve been to 2 appointments in that office and left in tears both times and I’m normally not an emotional person. The lack of bedside manner, brushing off my concerns, and telling me to “stay positive” when I’m expressing my concerns about a very likely miscarriage is ridiculous. I only saw Dr. Zeliger so I can’t speak about the other doctors but I won’t be going back to find out. It’s so sad that this is one of the only options for people locally to get pregnancy care. I’m now driving over an hour away to get my prenatal care but it’s worth it to avoid that office. This office may be fine if you have a standard pregnancy and go in at 10 weeks for your first ultrasound. But if you need anything else, forget it!

I am not one to complain, however, I’ve had some outstanding and unusual complications that took me a lot of courage to see a doctor mind you, I was in the ER twice in 2 weeks, I haven’t been to the ER in about 6 years because I do not like going, and they wanted me to follow up. I’ve been waiting patiently to be seen for over a week, in sporadic pain, and when I come to a doctor with an issue, I am nervous because I am scared. I like thoroughness, I like answers, and explanations. I want to know why my body is going through something. I want to know preventative care, and post procedure care, I like things to be explained to me. I was rushed through my appointment of my IUD removal. I had no problem with the nurse assistant she was super kind and professional. I was told opposite things of which I was told in the ER. My problems seemed to be dismissed, and I felt a need to plead my case to get my IUD removed. When removed, the process was also rushed. I had asked for an ultrasound to verify positioning, which I had been told over the phone would happen because in the previous days before like I stated I feel as though it kept moving. The ultrasound I had asked for was not performed, and instead my location of my IUD was based off from a cat scan I had received during my second visit at the ER. However, I did mention that my IUD felt fine that day, it felt in place. I also told my doctor who was removing my IUD this. So I knew it would show it in perfect position. I was super scared. And today my whole left side is swollen. I do not feel right.
I get nervous at the doctors. I like to know what’s happening, as it’s happening. I was extremely uncomfortable with the way I was being talked to, it felt incredibly unprofessional, and no one had told me if I could leave, or to get dressed, I was given no paperwork, given no post-procedure care. I went to check out and left. I feel stunned, mortified, disappointed, and scared to even see a new doctor next week. My problems are not being heard, and I’m being treated like a hypochondriac by Farmington. Unimpressed by a long shot. I was also not alerted by any medical professional, that the IUD mirena I have had in for 3 years, has a 12.8 million dollar lawsuit against it, due to pregnancy complications, perforation and fluid found on the brain. I had to do the research myself. Since my insurance only covers when I reach the deductible, and I have to pay for that visit, already on a low-income, I feel humiliated, and belittled. Never again going back.

I told them i thought i was misscarring at 6 weeks they brushed me off, I called again a week later reporting bleeding and cramps, they brushed me off and said if it get to a hemorrage go to the er. The hospitals in this area are so unstaffed and rediculous that when i did go to an er hemorraging and misscarring my baby there was no staff there, so perhaps my supposed DR. Could have ordered a scheduled ultrasound when there was a tech around and given me instructions for what to expect from a misscarrage instead of ignoring me and telling me to wait till my 10 week appoinment, forcing me to go to rumford which is a joke but only place i could drive while hemorraging.

I had a great experience giving birth at this hospital and was treated with respect while receiving care with my pregnancy BUT two different times when I have called the women’s care office since then I’ve been treated so poorly by the receptionist it’s hard for me to believe it’s the same place. Wow.
