Meet with Marvin several times to discuss Mom homegoing services each time he listen and offered advice as to how we should proceed with things.

He answered every question, returned all phone calls and stood with us. On the morning of our Mom passing I called he told me what to do and what he would do. And he followed through with each promise made. Marvin and his staff was there for us and made this much easier than anticipated. We will be forever grateful to him, even now he calls and ask How you doing young fella. Thank you Marvin so much.

Self dealing, without thought for the grieving family, Mr. Harris was the most unprofessional funeral director we have ever met.
One can disagree without being disagreeable, no, not Mr. Harris, he was curt, impatient, and in the end, disconnected us from the conference call.
As a facilitator, working with family during a time of loss, one should exercise as much patience, compassion, and empathy.
Sorry we did not get that here at M C Smith Funeral Home. If you ask for my recommendations, go to Wheelers, there they have the professionals.

Where on earth do I began. First of all, I must say immediately when we spoke with Marvin regarding the burial of my beloved Aunt Sandra he showed warmth, compassion and his acts of kindness was amazing. The staff is impeccable and his area of expertise within this field blossomed. The dedication that they had to make sure that we had everything down to the wording was just immaculate. I have been trying to arrange urn placement for quite sometime now. I cleared land as I was told that was an issue. It took some time as I live out of town and had to make arrangements to be present. I called after land was cleared and requested a return call 3 times in the last month and NO call was returned. I don't mind if there is a issue, problem or simply no interest in assisting me, however, any business should be capable of communicating!! Extremely disappointed!!
