A friend and I stumbled upon this place after a long day of field work on farms across the eastern shore of Maryland. It was almost closing time and we came in not knowing what to expect but without high hopes. We were pleasantly surprised to find friendly hosts and a wide selection of wonderfully delicious authentic Indian food. Service was quick and friendly. The food was very flavorful. The quality was comparable to the best Indian restaurants I've eaten at in Washington DC, New York and Vancouver... But without the big city prices. If you live near Centerville you're lucky to have this option. If you're traveling or live farther away it's certainly worth making this restaurant a culinary destination.

Fish Tikki (appetizer) with chutney both sweet and hot was an absolute delight. *White fish battered and fried.
Fish Tikka (Main dish) was most delicious, well portioned and filling. The accompanying Rice and Papadam were excellent. A great choice.
*Two Salmon steaks marinated and cooked with fresh green bell pepper and onions, barbecued in the tandoor.

The service was excellent. Top shelf and very friendly and respectful. The kitchen seemed very busy with takeout orders and I was very surprised by the efficiency and over all quality of the meal and atmosphere.
A family restaurant or great place for a date and intimate conversation. Very comfortable atmosphere.

Overall, I was very pleased with the meal and service.
No complaints and I am certain to return.

Super quaint. Loved it! Probably the best Chicken Tikka Masala I've had in a while! It was small and quiet. Food came out quickly. Staff was super friendly. The Raita and pickle were delicious also. Everything was very authentic. We will definitely be back again.

I find myself coming here nearly once a week recently. I usually go for the butter chicken, which is the best curry I’ve personally had, and definitely the best on the shore. The service is good and the prices are fair, especially if you take advantage of some the lunch specials. If you want to have a drink they have a large variety to choose from as well, the various Indian beers being my favorite

Lion’s Villa was amazing. Coming from out of town, I was like “what in the world is there to eat in Centreville, MD?!” Then I found it. A true 💎. Very happy I did, too. the service was incredible and the food was outstanding. The ambiance was also top tier and clean. I highly recommend.

This was my first time visiting the Lion’s Villa. I'm sorry I did not try this sooner. It was opened in December 2023 and the team here has a good thing going.

The interior is nice, not too stuffy. Its comfortable. The service was friendly and inviting. I ordered to go and was offered a seat at the bar while I waited for my order - Chicken Korma. (highly recommend )

One small note, I ordered to go but got no silverware. Close call - I had some on the truck. So no biggy.

Excellent flavor and great quality chicken and the rice was done right. Thanks for my lunch today and thank you for giving me a glass of ice water on this hot day as I waited. 5-star

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Lions Villa in Centreville, Maryland. Our group of 26 people called ahead with very short notice, and the owner was more than happy to accommodate us—which was already a great first impression.

As a British Indian who's been to countless Indian restaurants, I can honestly say the food here is among the best I've ever had. The freshly baked naan was soft and flavorful, and the curries were perfectly prepared—rich, authentic, and cooked to perfection. We also ordered a mix of Indian and American dishes, and every single person in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meal.

The décor was tasteful and inviting—not too over-the-top—and the service was warm, attentive, and prompt from start to finish. Pricing was surprisingly (and pleasantly) lower than I expected.

Highly recommended for anyone craving quality Indian cuisine (with some great American options too). We’ll definitely be returning!
