Judge Terry was very biased towards me and very rude. I was going through a custody battle for seven and half years with my child daddy stepmom and his father. I never got to voice my opinion in the court room and express how I feel. I haven’t been given a fair chance in the court. I am black and my daughter is mixed I feel like I am being treated unfairly because of my race. Judge terminated my rights to my child and I haven’t done anything wrong I love my child and I have been kept out my child life since she was a baby and now she is eight years old. I plan on appealing so I can get my rights to my child back because it was an unfair decision and wrongfully termination of my rights I’ll never give up on my child that I gave birth to. I don’t understand how a judge let the stepmother and daddy get custody of my child and terminated my rights when I did nothing wrong. They don’t need to have custody because my child’s father daddy is an alcoholic and he drinks in front of her all the time and I don’t want my child around that and the maternal grandmother doesn’t need to see her either she let a 13 year old touch my 8 year old daughter in her private area I don’t trust these people around my child something needs to be done I want my daughter back and I will never stop fighting until she is back in my care and home. This judge and courthouse is crooked and needs to be investigated because you can’t trust them.

Of the 10 or so times Ive had the displeasure of interacting with the dmv here to either renew my license or renew a tag, it has been so unpleasant I would rather speak to a robot than deal with the impolite personnel. I dont see how the personnel could be so upset with doing their job when they barely work at all, no call results in a fix it leads to multiple individuals trying to solve one simple task. Overall worst customer service ive ever had.

I have never had to deal with such rude people. If you call and get through no one wants to answer questions. To be such a small county they act like they are a metro city. I had questions about renewing my drivers license. I had to call for over one hour due to the line being busy. I actually thanked the rude woman but she just slammed the phone down in my ear. What a joke, no wonder no one wants to have to deal with Lawrence County..

This place, especially the dmv and tag office, are slower than molasses on the coldest day of the year. Sheriff's deputies are great, though. They're very entertaining, lol.

Make you sit in the court room all day and not even do there job. If you want to know why the courts are so backed up, go sit in. It’s ridiculous how much the judge talks without doing any work. Smh

Judge Praytor does not have a law degree. (Alabama doesn't require probate judges to have any formal legal training.) Good luck receiving fair treatment if you try to represent yourself pro se. He does whatever the lawyers in the room tell him to do.
