Im an elmpoyee at lackland. On aug 18th i was pulled over for a traffic violation (rightfully so) the officer confiscated my base access pass and my Drivers License. Later i was told he wasnt allowed to do that. For over a week i have been trying to get my identification back only to be told he lost both forms of ID.

Instead of trying to help me recover my lost IDs i was told i have to be the one to rectify that officers mistake. Unfortuntaley the base security makes it difficult to do with out walkimg the base grounds or paying for an uber to get me where i need to go.

It is extreamly inappropriate that i am Ereaponsible for a base officials mistakes. How can they be allowed to confiscate our property and have no solution for returning or compinsating the victims? I will be reporting this neglect to the proper officials.

My hope is noone else has to go through this stressfull expirence and waste of time because of the neglect of a base official. Be better lackland.

Staff was incredibly rude. Your room is shared with multiple other people. However it is located near a couple scenic hikes. Dinner is provided however they don't give you a menu. Needless to say I did NOT leave a tip. Tv did not come with cable.

Overall not an awful experience, I would put this resort somewhere between a motel 6 and the Hilton

Air Force instructors should treat parents and guests with respect. The short instructor, who was Black, wore glasses and had braided hair, and was extremely rude. It's important to consider who you are speaking to.

Came to my son graduation. The base it self was nice the soldiers who manage the gate were great. Would have gave five stars. But the Spanish guy inside the visitors center was horrible. Rude to my mother who is 70 years old. The wind and rain was starting. He made her stand out side. While he carried on a conversation with his Spanish guest at the window. About the area and where he was from and his family and so on. Mind you the line was long to get in but no concern from him. He was more interested in general conversation. Then he told the people who had been waiting for hours they were to late. Come back tomorrow to get your passes fixed or corrected. No regard to how far people had traveled to see the graduation. My second complaint is the food fenders and the lines. There wasn’t enough of them to meet demands of the people attending. Not to mention you didn’t know if when you finally made up to the window of you were going to get anything. They stayed sold out not enough food. But if you did get to order it was severely over priced. They took advantage of people who came to see their loved ones graduate. Example small coffee two breakfast burritos 45 dollars seriously. It shame our kids our graduating to go serve our country. And the vendors outside were price gauging.

Great experience at Lackland Airforce Base! I came on base for a BMT graduation. The staff were incredibly professional and the instructions were clear.
