Had the pleasure of staying here for an extended period of time and the original staff and ownership took really good care of us. Zak and his staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and we felt at home. Anything you needed it was provided no questions asked. Unfortunately ownership changed towards the end of our stay and things weren't the same as before. A lot of the original staff seemed to have left at the time the new ownership took over and that seemed to be a telltale sign on the direction it was going. If it was under the original ownership I would've recommended it. I say go to the Sonoran Inn instead

Zak and all the staff at La Siesta are as good a group of folks as you'll find. Super friendly, very helpful and hard working. The cabins are clean, well kept and honestly, interestingly unique. Any issue I ever had, was resolved in a very timely manner. If you ever find yourself in Southern Arizona and u need a room for the night, u won't find a better place than La Siesta. 10/10 I'll def be back one day. Thank u so much to all the staff, u guys were amazing.

La Siesta is a magnificent motel with the cabins. It is beautiful and it worth staying at for a night or two through a longer period. The maids do a fantastic job cleaning the rooms as well. Zach takes great care of all his customers. I would definitely come back again!

I had a long term stay at this resort, due to work. When I first checked in, Zack walked me to my room and made sure my key worked. I have never had a resort done that before. The cleaning crew there were quite friendly and made me felt welcome the entire stay. They were quite detailed oriented and does an absolutely great job at cleaning. I would definitely recommend this resort to business and vacation travellers. I was quite impressed that I had no issues with my stay the entire time. Well done La Siesta.

Starting out, the area is quiet and peaceful despite being off the main highway in the area, so it was super accessible as well! The place looks and feels great coming in, and is clearly well taken care of. The best part is the customer service, and Zak at the front desk took great care of me. He made me feel at ease and cared for. He was polite, enthusiastic, and had great attention to detail. He personally escorted me to my own personal cabin, which is beautiful! It's new, clean, has fantastic amenities and EVEN A MASSAGE CHAIR! It smells of freshly cut wood, and is very tastefully decorated. Really comfortable bed too! Zak showed me around, made sure everything was to my liking, and took care of everything. This place is awesome and the people in charge clearly care about quality and customer service. Best place I've stayed so far on my trip across the whole country! 5/5 would strongly recommend!

Had a very nice stay at la siesta. The owner is as customer oriented and accommodating as they come and does everything possible to ensure the best stay possible. The housekeeping staff is very friendly and does a great job maintaining a comfortable and welcoming environment. My stay at la siesta was nothing short of excellent and the most I’ve felt at home during travel

First off Zack the owner is amazing. Does anything he can to accommodate your needs. The rooms are very clean and cleaned every day by a great crew. Donnell has been my house keeper and is great. The rooms are unique and have everything you would need. All the essentials plus more. Fridge (in most cases 2) microwave, office chair and a table, iron and ironing board, coffee and grills outside if you want to use them. It is a fantastic place. I have been here for four weeks and will stay here anytime I come back for work or for pleasure. 5 stars easy.

For a place in the middle of nowhere this place is very well up kept up. Each room has a little eccentric vibe of its own. The rooms are very clean. And zak is the owner and is extremely nice and helpful. I had a wonderful experience here and will definitely stay again when I'm in the area. I recommend this place to anybody traveling to or through Ajo.
