Amazing food with wonderful servers. They were very quick to seat us and bring our meals. There seems to be a bit of a language barrier. However, if you ask a question about the menu, it will be worked out. Very friendly associates. The restaurant has a bar with TVs, if you want to watch a game. Lots of tables are available, and the hibachi area has many as well. Bring your family and friends to enjoy a delightful meal. There is a kids menu as well.

The server was very rushed. She didn't have time for any pleasantries. Lunch sushi special was reasonably priced and good. Liked the large fish tank and the decor.

Best place for Asian food so far in Maine. I will say that I didn't like how the guy clearing dishes would reach over the food I'm still eating to take a dish. We started putting the dishes on the edge of the table after that. Also, the menu said Coke products, but it's Pepsi products and there is no note of that change. A simple sticker on the menu would fix that. The menus themselves are really abused and could use a refresh.

Great food and entertaining hibachi style. The presentation was almost too sophomoric with tossed chunks of tofu you are supposed to catch in your mouth and sake wine squirted into everyone’s mouth from a plastic squeeze bottle (or baby bottle) like at a fraternity party. Wasn’t suitable for my 87 year old mother’s birthday party with friends. Also language barrier was a challenge to get beyond especially for hard of hearing seniors.

As someone who is strictly gluten free I have a hard time eating out and it requires research prior to even going out. I went online to look at their menu which showed GF options so i planned my order prior to. I got there and was given a menu that didn’t have GF next to any items. When the server came to take our order I told her what I wanted but the green salad that was listed Gf online was not. There is soy sauce in the ginger dressing which i am glad she knew about. I ended up getting the fancy maki roll and a tuna roll. I asked for tamari on the side. A couple of the roll pieces were tough. Otherwise good. I just wish more restaurants were more straightforward with their GF options. There is a huge community of us! Otherwise the food came out incredibly fast, we were asked by multiple people numerous times if we needed anything despite being moderately busy on a Thursday evening. We were in and out in less than 1 hour (party of 2). I would go back.

I once had a craving for sushi and while most of the sushi in the area was great, it didn't quite hit the spot. My partner suggested we try somewhere new and we ended up at Kume!
I can't say enough at how soft and fresh their fish options were!!
Each of the pieces of sushi I tried was the best I've had in years!
We have been back several times to try their Hibatchi and the chefs are always entertaining and kind! After half a dozen visits back, we still have no complaints!
Hands down the best sushi I have had in the Waterville/Augusta area!
