We visited for a week with our adult children and we were all in awe of Honu Point. Rae-Marie was so friendly; we felt like we had known her for years! The house is beautifully decorated, with every amenity you would ever need. The 180 degree ocean view out back was simply spectacular! We were fortunate enough to see humpback whales spouting, turtles in the left bay, and an adorable albatross baby. Our kids hiked down to SeaLodge Beach & loved it. The landscaping in the front around the gorgeous infinity pool is very beautiful & was one of the backdrops for family photos we had taken by Keri Cooper. Rae-Marie allowed us to bring in a caterer & White Ginger Catering made us a delicious dinner. The house is in a quiet area & is very private. We loved this vacation, and are already planning our next visit to Honu Point!

Our third time at Honu Point and finally saw a couple of turtles. In past trips we made the mistake of overscheduling then asking why would we ever want to leave the pool? We went to the beach just a couple times. I mean the backyard looks over enough ocean so you see the sunset and sunrise so... Rae-Marie is the master communicator. Bless you for still having cable TV for sports and guest Netflix. I don't need to sell anyone on renting this house. It is the best we have ever stayed at. Restaurants we recommend are Bar Acuda and Ama. Make sure to book in advance. We enjoy the sunset golf cart tour at the Makai course.
Can't wait to return for number 4.

Honu Point is really a 6 star vacation destination! Rae Marie and Tom have done everything possible to make this vacation home on this incredibly beautiful and private property a place you’ll want to stay over and over again. We have returned at least once a year since 2015, since they first opened for guests. The very brief showers just make the sunrises, sunsets, lush tropical foliage and rainbows even more spectacular. It’s difficult to leave the gorgeous pool, spa and relaxing reading spots even for a couple of hours, but don’t miss the Limihuli gardens, shopping and dining in Hanalei, beaches for snorkeling, wading and surfing, kayaking, secret pools, easy and difficult hikes, touring the Napoli coast and much more. Quality golf and tennis are just around the corner.

Simply the best property we have ever visited. A truly one of a kind lot with breathtaking views from every angle. The grounds and landscaping are gorgeous. Abundant outdoor space for soaking it all in. The pool and spa are perfectly set to maximize this idyllic location. The home itself is beautiful - great layout for a family. Very spacious, so clean and comfortable. Thoroughly stocked and well appointed, every detail has been thought out and accounted for. Spectacular in every way. The local albatross added such a unique source of entertainment and enjoyment. Neighborhood is very nice, although it was easy to forget anyone else was around given the seclusion of this property. Princeville was an ideal location from which to base our north shore vacation. Convenient to Kilauea and Hanalei and beyond. Tom and Rae-Marie made everything so easy and made us feel so welcome. Honu Point is a very special place that we will never forget. Cannot express how grateful we are to have been able to stay here to celebrate our daughter's graduation. Truly a vacation of a lifetime. I could not recommend this any more highly.

My family recently spent our vacation at this amazing house for the second time on the north shore of Kauai. Not only is the house spectacular but the owners are friendly and go out of their way to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The house is nicely stocked with items such as beach towels, pantry items, and out door activity needs that making traveling from a far distance easier. We used a lot of the suggestions from Rae-Maries’s blog which made our stay even better. The views alone are worth the stay. Seeing both the sun rise and set is second to none. The pictures do not do it justice. Thank you Rae-Marie and Tom for the unforgettable stay. We hope to come back soon!

Honu Point is not a rental, it's an experience. The home with its luxury pool, comfy couches, and outdoor seating tucked into every nook, begs you to abandon your plans for the day and stay right there. The sunset and sunrise views ruin it for anywhere else you may go; this setting is perfect. Rae-Marie, our host, shares her slice of paradise which provided us with calm, awe, and enough memories...to last until the next visit. Can't wait!

We (two couples) had a fabulous stay at Honu Point. The home, location, views and amenities are first class. Rae-Marie and Tom were very helpful. We had a chef come to the house one night and that was also great. Convenient to golf, Hanalei Bay, shopping and restaurants.

Our family has been so fortunate to have just spent our third time at Honu Point. There are many reasons we return to not only Kauai, but specifically Honu Point. Rae-Marie and Tom have made their house a welcoming, inviting home providing everything imaginable for a luxurious stay.
The home is immaculate and equipped with every possible amenity. The breathtaking views, sunrises, sunsets, ocean breezes, albatrosses, lush landscaping, peaceful surroundings...all absolutely fabulous!
We feel truly blessed to have spent another vacation at Honu Point. After the first time we never imagined we would/could return. But when you return home and the only place you can think about is Honu Point...well, we made it work again!
The hospitality and warm welcome of Rae-Marie makes one feel like family. So, who knows? Rae-Marie and Tom, your “family” may be back again! Mahalo!!
