This is the worst place for service. It's all talk and emails, nothing else. The apartment I rented from them is like a trash can – nothing works properly, and they don’t care about anything except giving sweet-talk with no action. I’ve visited the office more than five times, called them over five times, and sent emails to all the relevant departments, including the management, director, rental office, and customer service office. Yet, there’s no response. I left a review on Google, but they told Google that I don’t live with them, and my review was removed. I wrote it again, and still, they don’t care. My next step will be to file complaints with the relevant authorities. It’s a waste of my time, but I will do it anyway.

The worst place I have ever rented! Their apathetic and infuriatingly slow responses make dealing with them a nightmare. They do absolutely nothing—no maintenance, no replies to emails, no responses to office visits. They simply do not care.

I rented a house from them, and it was infested with all kinds of insects. The kitchen wood is literally disintegrating due to age, probably untouched since the house was built. They have inspected the property multiple times, yet nothing has changed. Instead of fixing anything, they had the audacity to send me an email threatening to charge me for the kitchen, claiming I am responsible for the deteriorated wood and accusing me of damaging it!

As for the bathroom, water leaks from both above and below at the same time—wasting water that I have to pay for!

I even read a previous tenant’s review stating that when they requested repairs, the landlord responded by increasing their rent and electricity bill from $200 to a staggering $1,200! This is their method—either stay silent and accept the horrific conditions, or they will find a way to financially punish you.

I will be sharing photos of the kitchen so everyone can see for themselves whether this is due to damage caused by a tenant or simply because the house is ancient and neglected beyond repair.

Francesca at the pool does a little needful job keeping the pool chemical balanced and the areas clean. The beach is amazing, and we always enjoy the community events. Office and maintenance staff are always polite, respectful, and very helpful. Happy we could renew our lease to stay here longer.

My husband and I are extremely happy to live in Kapilina Beach Homes. The location feels like a slice of heaven. Gina from the Leasing office was incredibly warm and helpful throughout the move-in process and the front gate, front office and maintenance crews are equally wonderful. We are thankful to be residents.

I lived here from 2015 - 2018 while stationed on island. The homes were newly renovated and looked nice. I never had any major issues with the property management or facilities. The house was nice (didn’t like the constant bugs though), made lifelong friends from my neighbors, and loved living one block from the beach! The neighborhood beach is not the nicest on island, however, it is still nice and so close. This property was constantly hosting community events from concerts, paint parties, food truck events, movies etc. very family friendly, you know da kine. The neighborhood fitness center was very nice and kept clean. Having a dog park and gas station/shoppette was convenient too. If you’re moving to O’ahu and looking for a great community to rent in, you should consider Kapilina! 🤙🏽

The staff is very friendly, and the amenities are spectacular! The unit size is very nice a lot of square feet. I feel a little safe with the security gate. I like the resort style living. Wish there was a bus that ran in and out of

I lived here for 7 years. It's really nice, spacious, and pet friendly, but I'm not sure if we are staying another year due to an outrageous increase in rent! Facilities are not always kept clean or working, probably. Especially the hot tub, whirl pool, and splash pad. Always have problems with power outages! It would be sad if we have to move next year due to another outrageous rent increase 😔
