I don’t know what happened to my original review from this past fall but we enjoyed our time here. From check in (online) to checkout everything went smoothly. We were even able to use the car charger located around the back side of the main house. Which helped us to save money to spend locally. They even provided fire starters for the fire pit and items to make s’mores! Great location and cheaper than staying in Bar Harbor but close enough to drive. If we make it to MA again we will definitely stay here.

This cabin was a great base camp from which to explore Acadia N.P. over the course several days with my dogs. It's clean, comfortable, and has an awesome staff that went above and beyond every time I reached out to ensure that I was truly enjoying my stay as well as my trip. They're also very proactive in sending information re check-in/check-out, the facilities, the area, etc. I'll definitely be checking availability here next time we're at Acadia.

LOVE! The motel room is small, but we don't hangout in our room, so it was all we needed 🙂 have normal amenities like mini fridge and coffee pot. They took VERY GOOD initiative to communicate check in process and the fun details they offer. And they were SO responsive to any questions i asked via their text message number. And they provided light snacks and bottle water and games all in the "lobby," which was a huge plus! Would stay here again and would look to stay at their other properties should we find ourselves in those locations 🙂

This place was great and for the price, it can't be beat! The cabin was clean, and there was plenty of room for all of the stuff for the week. I loved that the "office" was a common area with water, ice machine, coffee makers, games, and all kinds of random things for you to use during your stay. They even had bug spray and lighters so you could enjoy the fire pit at night. Our cabin was spacious and clean, with a small fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. Definitely nothing fancy, but for the price, I don't think you'll find anything nicer. We had a few questions during our stay, and the person on the phone was so nice and then even followed up with an email. Great communication. I would definitely stay here again, and I would recommend to anyone looking to stay close to Acadia or Bar Harbor!

Really cute little spot right near Acadia but outside the hubbub of the park and Bar Harbor. My friends and I stayed in the motel rooms and they were small but very clean and comfortable. The king beds were great and super cozy and comfy after a long day of hiking and exploring the area. The owners and staff are very thoughtful, providing plenty of firewood and starters, s'mores kits and roasting sticks, dog toys and treats, coffee, light non-perishable breakfast stuff, condiments for roasting hot dogs on the fire or grills, and probably lots of other things I'm forgetting to mention. I liked being able to text a real person with any questions that came up and I always got a speedy and informative reply. Tina was super nice- met her on the morning we left and she was all about making sure we had a great stay. I also love that the place is truly not just dog friendly but downright welcoming, with no pet fee and plenty of amenities for the pups. The only downside is that the road is rather busy and loud when you're around the fire pit, but it is set far enough back from the road that it doesn't feel unsafe or anything, and the road noise does die down significantly at night (didn't notice it at all in our rooms and it didn't disturb the conversation around the fire once it got dark). Definitely need to keep dogs leashed here though. There is also a bar across the street that had live music playing which was kind of a nice addition to the ambiance and we didn't find it disruptive at all but perhaps others might not enjoy that. Overall really loved this place and will stay here again if we're ever in the area.

My party of three enjoyed a thoroughly pleasant stay at the Isleview Motel and Cottages. In advance of our stay, the customer service representatives - and particularly Maria - always provided remarkably fast responses to our special requests. And upon arrival, we found our unit (Cottage 1) to be roomy, very clean, comfortable and quiet. And we want you to add a very special shout-out to both Tina and Candy, who re-arranged their schedules in preparing our cottage to enable us to check in early. And we’re always extremely friendly and pleasant throughout our stay. It was a thoroughly nice experience from start to finish!

4 days before our trip a partridge (yes, the bird) flew through the window of the room booked. Isle view was incredibly hospitable with upgrading us to a cottage, from our previous ~motel esque room~, free of charge.

We also arrived in Maine earlier than expected and were allowed to check in to our cottage early! We have 0 complaints with our first experience in the bar harbor area

We loved our room in Trenton! Perfect location just outside of Acadia National Park and a quick drive to Bar Harbor. Contacted support via text for an inquiry and they responded promptly. Everything was simple and automated but we did meet some staff on occasion and they were so friendly and helpful!
