I purchased a large oxtail with rice and peas and cabbage. The cabbage was okay but the oxtails were dry and FULL of fat, the rice and peas had very little flavor and I didn't get any plantains. The portion of oxtails definitely wasn't worth $28 and to top it off, the service was as bad as the food. I'm Jamaican so I know what good food is supposed to taste like. I would never eat from this place again and I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

This restaurant has a friendly vibe with regulars stopping by for takeout, but its location isn’t ideal due to competition nearby. The owner and her daughter were welcoming. I tried the cabbage, rice and beans, and oxtails. The rice and beans were good, but the cabbage lacked flavor, and the oxtails were tough and dry, with little gravy despite requesting extra. The plantains were also small. Overall, the prices felt too high for the portion sizes and food quality—we spent $62 for two oxtail plates.

Ordered a peas soup… it came with meat in it. I’m vegan. Ordered an oxtail for my client- it was dry, no flavor, little to no gravy & no butter beans. I also ordered rice and peas with it but it came with white rice. And I also ordered a veggie roti - it was extremely salty. I’m Jamaican and this ain’t it.

I ordered "jerk chicken Rasta pasta" ...... WHAT IS THIS?!? it is NOT supposed to look like this!! Where is the sauce?!? The chicken was dry and there was no sauce on the pasta, just dry. mind you, I've never had Rasta pasta with pasta noodles that look like this. I did not eat this trash.

Today I ordered a jerk chicken with rice and peas side of cabbage and roti(curry goat) the FOOD NO FLAVOR was non-existent there was no jerk on the chicken at all. We felt it was baked chicken and I thought my spouse was just being extra because he's Jamaican and you know this is food that we can cook I was buying for convenience mi sorry. Rice n peas trash👎🏾 cabbage👎🏾 no carrot no thyme no scotch bonnet for basic dish 👎🏾 same for roti NO Flavor no potatoes. I mean this suppose to be 🇯🇲 Noo sah even if its not spicy it should have a some good flavor If I could get money back 35$ dwn drain I wish it was free I would dash weh. Im hungry nd stalling to eat this till mi really hungry bc paid for so goin eat it.

First time ordering here and highly disappointed. Ordered a large oxtail and received six little dry pieces that were very tough to chew. Rice had no gravy over it and everything was flavorless including the cabbage and plantains.
