I had the best time at Ironwood Ranch for the morning horseback tour. I have never been on a horse before so if you are a newbie but want to ride a horse I highly recommend Ironwood. After a quick lesson with the extremely helpful and experienced guide you’ll be trotting through the grounds and admiring their beauty in no time. My horse was Tango and he was so sweet and well trained. Definitely one of the highlights of my Hawaii trip!

Speaking of which, the beauty that enveloped us was truly majestic, with breathtaking views at every turn.

But what really set this experience apart was our guide. They were not only knowledgeable and professional but also an absolute joy to be around. Their passion for the ranch, the horses, and the environment was infectious, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Ironwood Ranch is an absolute hidden gem! The ranch itself is up the mountain in Lahaina & a little secluded, but when you arrive - WOW! The property and views are just gorgeous! Our daughter is 4 years old & was scheduled for a 30 minute horseback riding session. Our guide Gigi couldn’t have been more amazing! She was so kind and wonderful with our daughter & had everything (including a little helmet) ready for us at check-in! We were allowed to walk along side of her & the horse, so it was really fun to experience everything WITH our daughter. Gigi also gave us so many great opportunities to take photos & she took some amazing family photos for us as well! Our visit ended with Gigi allowing my daughter to feed her horse carrots (she loved it!) & to feed corn to the many chickens/roosters on the property. Overall, I’d give Ironwood Ranch a 20/10! Can’t recommend enough & we will definitely be back!

My trip here for horseback riding was one of my favorite parts of my time in Maui. It's a beautiful Ranch with some beautiful people running it and caring for the horses and property. I learned so much about the island and what it means to have a loving relationship with an animal like a horse. I'm not an experienced rider at all, this was my second time riding, but it was no problem. They showed me everything I needed to know and they've done such a great job with their horses, that they show respect to their riders as long as you give them respect in return.

Best ride ever! Amazing view for what was once a pineapple plantation. The guide was knowledgeable and fun! The horses seem happy and well cared for. We will definitely go back again on our next trip to Maui!!

If you’re going horseback riding in Maui this is the only company to work with. They treat their horses with the utmost care. Their ranch is gorgeous and the crew is the best.

Depending on the ride you chose you will go through the lush plantations that were formerly pineapple groves. The ocean vistas are breathtaking. The horses are treated with great care. All are named after celebrities so you can say you’ve ridden a rock ⭐️.

We had a wonderful morning trail ride on our most recent Maui trip. The ranch is really convenient to the Lahaina & Kaanapali area but the minute you get up to the gates, you feel that you're in another world. It's lush and really peaceful at the ranch and on the trails. Our guide Liloa was really fun and interesting - he's a real character and had a lot of fun info about the islands and the ranch. He was especially kind and helpful when my daughter got a bit nauseous toward the end of our ride. There were beautiful views of Lanai and Molokai from the trails and we made great memories here.
