Comfortable and picturesque, private, yet so close to all things.

We stayed in Victory Chimes. The view was spectacular, the room was clean and cozy. We loved the electric fireplace. The only complaint was the tv did not work but really wasn’t missed. Great location. Loved all extra touches. We will definitely go back.

Beautiful location we loved everything about it. We just didn't time it the best as far as the season, we made the best of it in the middle of February. Can only imagine how awesome it would be in a beautiful fall season.

House keeping was really good and we had a wonderful stay with our doggie. Stonington is a beautiful town. Our destination was Bar Harbor around 50 min away however i think choosing this location was really good idea because the sunset view from caterpillar hill and view of Acadia mountains from town of Surry was another addition to our great memory!

An absolute gem at what seems like the end of the world -- in a good way -- on the Maine coast. Imagine having a drink in the evening looking out over a masterpiece of the Stonington harbor that nature painted. Or waking up and gazing out a picture window at sunrise. Or don’t imagine it – just look at the photos. We stayed in The Timberwind room. Self-service check-in was smooth, parking on the street in late September was no problem (Tip: Come in late summer-early fall, when the crowds are a bit thinner). The community room downstairs was amply stocked with free amenities, from ice to tea to granola bars. On our recent three-week trip to the Northeast, we stayed at many places, but this is one we can’t wait to return to. Only next time, we’ll book for more than one night.

Stayed again at the inn on the harbor. This time in Angelique. Very nice king bed, clean inside, beautiful views and a semi private deck. The binoculars were an awesome add to watching the fisherman rolling in the morning/ afternoon. A spacious bathroom and despite the other reviews about the fridge mooing we didn’t hear a thing. Had coffee at 44North (no lattes - but a mean French press!) 27 Fathoms and Cry Babies for lunch and dinner. All walking distance from the inn. We especially liked the Common room for late night hot tea before we turned in. This is our 3rd stay at the inn and will be back next season.

Stayed in the Heritage for past 3 nights. View is simply beautiful. Room was big & roomy with couch and easy chair looking right out the picture window to the harbor. Location is convenient to restaurants, coffee shops, and simply wandering in/out/around town. Staff could not be more friendly
