We have been visiting The Inn at Sunrise Point for many years. It is a beautiful spot to relax and recharge. MJ and Matt are amazing Innkeepers as well as great people. They are both very personable and friendly. Mary and her dog, Frederick, are also warm and welcoming! The breakfasts are out of this world. Matt makes THE BEST french toast ever! They can suggest great restaurants and places to visit.|We usually stay in the Rachel Carson room. It was redone over this past off-season, and is even more beautiful than before. Leave the door open and drift off to sleep to the sound of the surf! The accommodations are immaculate, there are bouquets of fresh flowers all over the property. Fresh baked treats are available in the dining room every afternoon. We always feel welcomed and safe at The Inn. It is our happy place!

Exceptional in every way - beauty, comfort, service, atmosphere. The inn is stunning, from its waterfront location with a stairway down to the rocky beach, to the lovely gardens, to the beautifully furnished and comfortable rooms. The breakfasts were the best meals we had while staying in the area. |Matt is a talented cook and MJ is a fantastic baker. The home baked afternoon treats were delicious. The mid coast location, between Lincolnville and Camden, and a few minutes from Camden Hills state park, was ideal. We stayed in one of the cottages and it was absolutely wonderful. It is truly one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. But what really sets this inn apart is how the innkeepers and their team attend to their guests. You are made to feel comfortable and cared for, from the moment you make your reservation until the moment you leave. We were given great suggestions on places to visit and MJ even packed a bag of towels for us on a rainy day. The rooms were tidied while you were at breakfast and turned down while you were out to dinner. I highly recommend adding the sailing excursion to your reservation. They handled everything including rescheduling when weather was bad and we were sent off with a wonderful bottle of wine (choice of red or white), glasses, and a corkscrew. My wife and I spent two nights of our honeymoon at the Lane Cottage at the Inn at Sunrise Point. The accommodations are fantastic. The owners, Matt and MJ, are extraordinarily gracious and provided us a gourmet breakfast each morning. Mary and Alyssa offered impeccable service throughout our stay. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. You will not be disappointed.

Words cannot describe the three blissful nights my husband and I spent at The Inn at Sunrise Point during our honeymoon. Matt, MJ, Mary, and the entire team went out of their way to make our short time at their inn exceptional. I’d rolled my ankle on the first day of our trip, and Matt and MJ were kind enough to move us into an available room that was on the ground floor so I didn’t have to navigate the stairs. Each morning we were treated to a delicious homemade breakfast that we savored on the porch, and MJ came by and helped us decide on our itinerary for the day. We saw the best of the area thanks to her, and on a day where we planned a trip out to Monhegan Island, MJ packed us an insulated backpack with towels, water bottles, and homemade cookies. Each night we indulged in their fully stocked bar and watched the stars, and every morning we awoke before dawn to watch the sunrise over the bay. It was truly the most romantic spot we hit during our honeymoon up the coast of Maine, and Matt, MJ, and their staff made us feel at home the entire time. I cried when we left. We can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I made our first trip to Maine to celebrate our anniversary and were fortunate to choose the Inn at Sunrise Point for our 2-night stay near Camden. The property is beautiful and the only downside is that we didn't stay longer.

Our room was in the main house with a small balcony with water and sunrise views. It was very clean with nice amenities. We typically don't eat much for breakfast but the pastries, fruit, and food were so good we couldn't help ourselves.

Matt and MJ were friendly, gracious hosts; always willing to talk, provide tips and advice about activities, etc. We look forward to seeing them again one day on a return visit!

The inn is quiet and peaceful! Perfect place to get away! MJ, Matt, and Mary are thoughtful and intuitive hosts. The staff we met were equally pleasant and greeted everyone with a smile. We have been regulars for years and each visit gets even better if that's possible! Wonderful spot and terrific hospitality.
