They truly have everything the average person could need. It was a lot of fun to browse through everything. The store is well organized and clean, and the prices are fair. From wine, winter gloves, snow shovels, home decor, gifts camping gear and guns...if they don't have it, you don't need it.

This is a legitimate country story! Delighted to have come across this store with a bit of everything! From groceries to gifts to fishing gear to wedding dresses! YES! Wedding dresses! If they don't have it, you probably don't need it!
Cannot wait to return and explore further! Also, super friendly staff!

I believe the pictures will speak for themselves but will not give you the enjoyment as I received when I arrived here. Ask for Angela she is the star of the show, kind sweet and truly enjoys her job. She will go above and beyond to make you smile while assisting you in every way possible. They have all you can ask for in a General Store. The customer service person who assisted me is also outstanding and professional. As for the cashiers it is a hit or miss. Not to friendly or polite to serve you but the rest of the staff are the crew who make up for it!

What’s not to love about Hussey’s Need a pair of winter boots? Check. Need bait or tackle? Check. Need a bag of Fritos or ice cream? Yep. Ammo? Yep. Wedding dresses …. You guessed it. Yes! An all around awesome store for pretty much everything you need. Stop by for provisions, kids items, travel souvenirs among other things. An all time Maine classic!

Poor customer service. Went in to purchase a water and a quick snack 15 mins before close (never been here before) my husband went upstairs while I picked the items I wanted to purchase. Gentleman upstairs said that the registers are closed so that they can leave at 7:00pm. So the establishment is NOT open until 7:00pm. Not friendly and not what you would expect from a small town store. This is my first time here and it will be my last. Sad because I would like to spend my money to support small businesses.

We stopped at Hussey’s General store with a Maryland friend. . . . enjoyed our 60 minute walk back in time searching 3 floors of an amazing array of “ fun stuff” ! I think I did pick up a case of jelly jars ! Here’s a little background on Hussey’s:
