This is one of my new favorite restaurants. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. We arrived for happy hour with really good specials. The Volcano Chicken Bites were nicely spiced and perfectly cooked. We both ordered recommendations from our server. The Seafood Stuffed Flounder was delicious and nicely cooked. Similarly, the Luau Pork Plate was delicious. Everything was so good, we decided to get the Fried Apple Pie. We can’t wait to come back. Next time I plan to try the Tacos and Onion Rings.

A delightful tropical themed restaurant and bar. The wait staff were friendly and fast. We had Mediterranean salmon (not sure how that connects to their Polynesian theme) and stuffed flounder. Both were tasty and relatively large portions. The menu has a somewhat random selection of dishes, but enough for everyone in your party to find something they want. Very fair pricing too.

Great service by Missy! So many interesting choices on the menu! Bowls, tacos, seafood, pork, chicken, beef, etc. Had a cup of the Hula Chowder. Nice spice level, shrimp and sausage in a thick soup on a bed of rice. Unfortunately it was way too salty. Enjoyed the Shrimp Stuffed Flounder which consisted of two nice fillets of flounder with a heavily buttered bread crumb stuffing in the middle that had a very scarce amount of highly chopped shrimp. Very tasty. The dish was accompanied by zucchini and faux risotto. The rice was very creamy, garlicky and had a good amount of capers and artichokes. Cool atmosphere with all of the Polynesian decorations!

I can't believe I've lived here for so long and am just now trying Hula Moon. It was fabulous! I was pleasantly surprised to find a vegetarian rice bowl on the menu. It was one of the best bowls I've ever had! Kiara was our bartender/server (we sat at the bar), and she was a delight. I will definitely be back.

A great restaurant in the Indian Harbor beach area
This restaurant, I believe, is the one of a kind. It is located in a building in front of Lowe’s close to A1A. There is plenty of parking owing to the lots along 2 sides of the restaurant and an entire parking lot behind the building. It is in the corner lot of a building of shops. It has a Polynesian/surfing look to its sign and many of the decorations inside. According to their website, “Hula Moon is a modern take on the American tiki bars of the 1950’s and 60’s.” Their food is a mix of American pub food and Polynesian-style dishes like poke bowls, tacos, sandwiches, and seafood. They have a full liquor right in front of the door as you enter. The seating areas are a mix of booths and tables to the right and left of the bar along with some tables outside. We were greeted by a hostess and escorted to a table. They have a good mix of foods and dishes. We ordered the lettuce wraps, a Shanghai Shrimp Bowl, and a Black-n-Blue Steak Salad. All of these came out quickly and were delicious. Most appetizers run from $10-$15 and most meals are about $15-$20. The location was clean and very relaxing. The staff was pleasant. The prices were reasonable for the economy. Overall, it was a pleasant experience that I would try again and recommend to anyone wanting a good meal in the area.

Been passing by this place for a long time, had a group dinner and we decided to give it a try. Mahi, Tuna and Shrimp Tacos were great. Large portions served with beans and rice. Apps were good, drinks were all tasty. Great service, reasonable prices, nice crowd. Casual atmosphere inside. We will be back.
