Unfortunately, I do not recommend this location due to our horrible experience. We had an appointment booked with Peter and received a confirmation text days before. When we arrived, the receptionist told us Peter was not there. No other agents were available so she told us we would have to come back hours later. At this point, Peter walked in, did not acknowledge us and instead threw his hands up at the receptionist saying, “I can’t do it.” The whole experience was unprofessional. It did not seem like Peter or the receptionist valued customer service. We will never return to this location.

Sabrina Eubanks is a wonderful tax preparer. We have worked with her for several years, now. She explains everything and is friendly. She gets to know you and your tax history and is very professional. I think she has limited hours, but we highly recommend an appointment with Sabrina!

If you are looking for the BEST around, go see Beckha Kennedy. I was beyond impressed with her knowledge, friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond. I had quite a few things I needed done/filed and Beckah handled everything with such compassion. Her tax knowledge is unmatched and she is an asset to H&R Block.

I had a poor customer service experience back in 2020 when I used this location. I requested a different agent this year 2023 and thought the experience would be better. It was worse. My appointment for consultation was double booked (or they were short handed). The consultant said "I've done this persons taxes before, so I'll take him. It'll only be 15-20 minutes". I simply said that it was no problem, I'd go elsewhere, since I was working and only had a few minutes break to discuss my unique circumstances. She then proceeded to grill me as to why I was there if I was working. She didn't know that I own my own business. She didn't bother to understand that THEY were the ones who created the problem, not me. I made the decision to go to Hewitt Jackson at the Walmart on 103rd street. The experience was beyond awesome. Took me 30 minutes early. Gave me the info I needed to be prepared for my tax return. After both negative experiences for H&R Block on Argyle Forest, Jacksonville, I will never use the brand again. I called the other 2 in Jacksonville and they are all affiliated. I realize that most don't have my issue, based on the reviews, but this was just the worst of the worst and you should make an informed decision before using this company locally. Just bad attitudes. They called me back about 15 minutes later and said they could see me. I was beside myself. If I couldn't wait for 15-20 minutes, why would I drive all the way back? Nope. Done with them.
