Hotel Manisses is an easy 5 minute walk from the ferry docks. When we arrived we were enchanted by this wonderful hotel and grounds. Paul (ask him about his Martha Stewart chickens!) and Darcy were welcoming hosts, very willing to share stories and suggestions. We arrived well before checkin time so the hotel happily took our luggage and we spent a fun afternoon in town. The rooms are wonderful, the beds very comfortable and the grounds fun to explore and great for spending an afternoon relaxing. The hotel was built many years ago but has obviously been lovingly restored. We couldn't have asked for better and will return.

Loved this hotel! We went after the summer to celebrate our 35th anniversary. Such a beautiful hotel. A friend recommended it to us as it was recently renovated. They did such a lovely job. The lobby is so pretty and welcoming and the front porch is such an inviting place to sit and relax. We did not eat at the restaurant downstairs (but I surely wish we did). We didn't even know it was there having not done much research before our little getaway. It is such a pretty space and the outdoor garden and patio were so beautiful and peaceful. We had a few drinks at night out there and it was all lit up like and so cozy. The mattresses were super comfortable and the pillows were just perfect. The owners did a great job and were so nice to talk to. I highly suggest you stay here, you will be so happy you did! Easy walk from the ferry but a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the little town. We will be back! Thank you for helping us celebrate our 35th anniversary. 🙂

The Hotel was just delightful, most unique, well appointed, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable, we had the best night's sleep following an uncomfortable stay at a chain hotel on the mainland. We would love to return to spend more time at the hotel and exploring Block Island.

We thought the accommodations were excellent! The room was very nicely appointed. Nice old fashioned bathtub. Nice friendly staff and comfortable lobby.Clean and very convenient to the Ferry.|We’re coming back next year with some friends to see more of the Island.

The room we had was perfect. It was very clean and in a perfect spot. Everywhere we needed to go was walking distance from the hotel. The room was ready ahead of the original check-in time and, since no one else was checking in the day we were leaving, we were told that we did not need to leave at our check-out time. We would definitely rent from this hotel again.

The photos do not do this place justice. Interior is updated and welcoming. Many cute little sitting areas, cozy nooks, outdoor seating for lounging with a drink, and a bar in the lobby and out on the front porch. There is also an excellent restuarant on site. The staff was so welcoming - even Paul (the owner?) made a point to introduce himself! We truly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to be back!
