Had an amazing 4-night stay at Honokowai Palms over 4th of July weekend!! Our 1BR/1 BA unit (A4) was clean, comfy, and well-appointed. View from our lanai was awesome (check the attached pic). Open the slider and the door and ocean breeze would blow right through the unit. The AC unit in the bedroom kept us comfortable a night. We were looking looking to explore this side of the island and get a more "local" experience than the large chain resorts provide. Honokowai Palms provided the PERFECT "home base" for that. Whether it was coffee in the morning at Honokawai Beach Park right across the street or drives to beaches of Kāʻanapali or shopping, sailing, and cocktails downtown Lahaina, we were close to all the action. Be sure to grab lunch at Fish Market Maui or a cinnamon roll from Papi's Ohana, both just a block a away from HP.

I just got back from the most chill-ax-tion experience at Honokowai Palms. The unit was an adorable, vintage tiki- inspired oasis offering a perfect balance of comfort and style. The cozy layout and tasteful decor created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. I was particularly impressed by the stunning ocean views visible from the unit’s lanai. All the comforts of home were provided. The location was ideal, with convenient access to nearby downtown Lahaina and the beach. Honokowai Palms exceeded my expectations, providing a memorable and enjoyable stay in Maui. It was so convenient and amazing.

This was our second time staying at Honokowai Palms. Stephanie and Mike have been very helpful and responded promptly to our questions. The condo and the complex were clean. My family of 4 loves that we can walk to get coffee, food from the trucks just down the street, or fruit from the market. I liked that the kitchen was fully equipped for me to make dinner. My kids liked that the beach/park was just across the street. Great sunsets and rainbows. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing week at the Honokowai Palms! Our host Sophia was very accommodating and provided detailed instructions as well as recommendations. The condo is very clean, comfortable and located right across the street from the beach. Several shops and eateries are within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here! We will be back next summer!

If you’re searching for a vacation rental on the AirB or Vrbo sites and come across this building, I would avoid it and look for other places. Unless they price it very economically, but that wasn’t my experience. The building is a dump. They tried fixing up the unit we stayed in, but there were still serious flaws. Cockroaches; bug stains on the walls; stained linens and drapes; moldy air conditioners that blew moldy air into the room if you used them; Street noise if you opened the windows. This is not the place for your Hawaiian dream vacation. Keep looking.
