Dined in for breakfast - it was a cute diner and staff were welcoming. The waitress we had was very nice & super efficient. They had good portions and a nice variety of foods to choose from.

The food was OK. Very plain...no butter, oil, or seasonings were used, except on the toast. My partner & I could not choke the home fries down because they were dry and tasted like plain baked potato. If you're looking for a tasty, greasy, cant-make-at-home diner breakfast, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a quick sit down breakfast & don't mind plain-tasting food, it's worth a shot.

Nothing gets me to write a bad review quicker than feeling like I just got robbed. $7+ tax for this sad excuse for a breakfast sandwich. Shameful.

Excellent hash. And cinnamon rolls had just come out of the oven. Good, down home food. The waitress we had was wonderful. All around cheery atmosphere.

This has become a favorite place for us. Kind of a dump inside and out but it is clean, service is top notch and fast and the food is INCREDIBLE. Haddock chowder is some of the best I have ever had. Daily specials. Everything we have ordered has been delicious, served promptly and with a smile. Reasonable prices. Large menu with many options for breakfast and lunch ans well as daily specials. Ample parking. Looks old and outdated inside but especially from the outside (old rundown drive in diner no longer in use though nostalgic). If you are looking for a quick, reasonably priced diner with great food and service, this is the place for you. Don't let the looks of the place stop you.

Best breakfast spot I’ve found in the year and half since I moved to Maine love the close atmosphere to a small town restaurant the food was cooked perfect and the price was good as well as great service and got our food fast will definitely be back

Nothing better than biscuits and gravy at the HiHat. Super peppery and classic. As I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast a large table of locals remarked it was the best dish to order. Delicious and a great way to inspire some friendly banter. Nice staff! Got random compliments on my outfit. Very welcoming.

Love old places like this, the best breakfast I've had in a restaurant in many years! My eggs were cooked perfect, my French Toast was awesome and my pecan waffle was out of this world!!! If you are driving by and never tried this place, you don't know what you're missing. You will be greeted by super employees and served food so good you will want to slap your momma!!! Lol Okay, don't slap your momma, that's just a saying. I'll make you this promise, you'll thank me for letting you know about it!❤️
