My husband and I were here in mid June 2024. This restaurant was fairly close to our hotel at the Rockland Harbour Hotel. We had a friendly and prompt waitress. It wasn't very busy yet. We both ordered the Steak. It came with wedge Fries and Sautéed Zucchini and Green Beans. We both enjoyed our meals. Also we had a great view by the window, of the harbour. Later we went down there for a walk and to take pictures. There is lots of parking, at least there was in mid June. We would come here again if in the area.

LOCATION is good, not far from the town center, and offers a nice view of the harbor.

MENU offers a mix of grill and seafood, pasta and handheld. We got french onion soup, a summer salad, and broiled scallops. The salad was good, but the soup could have been served warmer, and the scallops weren’t quite broiled. Overall the flavors were fine.

SERVICE/ATMOSPHERE was good not great. The soup of the day was not the only soup on the menu, despite us being told it was. We waited several minutes for someone to notice us and seat us, and there were at least five tables that needed bussing, so the operations seemed understaffed.

My sisters & I ate at High Tide tonight. I have food allergies and they made a meal that was delicious!! Morgan was a great waitress!! Highly recommend.

Can't wait to eat here all the time! We had dinner on the patio and it has such a good view of the ocean, so up close and beautiful. The interior is so clean and modern and fresh, it's such a good vibe! Lots of wood touches, wood tables and chairs too, with calm moody lighting, perfect for going on a date but also fully family friendly. There is a big full bar too so I would definitely bring friends here for drinks!

We got shrimp cocktail and calamari for the apps and they were phenomenal!! The presentation was so good and they served some feta and pepperoncini pepper slices on the calamari, it was phenomenal tasting! I got the haddock plaki for dinner which I will get again for sure, it was delicious. My husband got the ahi tuna and again it was 10/10!

Lots of great appetizer and entree and drink options! I also love that they have seafood options to really make it a Maine, coastal vibe!

We had the turtle cheesecake for dessert which was amazing.

Can't wait to go back there!!!

I usually don’t write reviews unless I’ve had a superb, extraordinary experience, or the complete opposite, and I’m sorry to say but this time it’s the latter.
Came here for the views and to try something local, but the only good thing was the view which was fantastic.
First, the waitress looked quite unhappy to see that she had 3 more customers (us) and was not very courteous. it was so loud inside (because it’s a full bar in addition to the dining tables) so we moved outside. My dad ordered a red wine but she brought out a white and didn’t seem to know what a Cabernet Sauvignon was, she was genuinely confused when we told her we ordered a red. And it seriously tasted like cheap vodka/ it tasted to strange but not in a good way. So clearly they don’t train the workers here very well. Next I added a picture of my utensils. My dad’s set was the same. No explanation needed. Next, service took so long! I never ended up getting my new set of cutlery.
Ordered calamari to start, and the squid was so tender instead of the fresh chewy texture fresh calamari should be. They also added the liquid from the peppers to the dish so it was soggy in the middle.
I ordered shrimp scampi and my dad ordered the chicken Mediterranean pasta, but they took 15-20 minutes for any food to come out…
Both our dishes were not seasoned at all and the whole thing tasted like flour from the pasta. None of the sauce had made its way into the pasta; it tasted like a bunch of things had been thrown together, not actually cooked. The sauce was also on the side of my plate:the chef didn’t bother to clean the plate to make it look presentable. Mom ordered the haddock soup and when it came out, it had that stiff layer at the top that often appears when left out for a few minutes.
Everything took absolutely forever, and with the horrible taste, we had to leave without eating. None of us could do it! The waitress said nothing but “ok” when we raised our concerns with the food.
Now I can’t speak for their burgers and lobster rolls. Since they identify as a bar and grill, maybe the sandwiches are what they’re good at, but if you come, definitely stay away from the classics and wine and stick with the burger and beer. Went to Claw’s instead and ate like hungry bears.

WOW!! Just incredible! I’m a burger fanatic and seek one out every chance I get. Today I had the luxury of checking out High Tide.

Super clean place, chill AF atmosphere, decent music playing in the background and at the right volume level. Mariah was super pleasant and had the most beautiful smile.

I grabbed a Bacon BBQ Burger (add cheddar) fully dressed. Oh man! This behemoth came out right on time. The presentation was top notch. First bite, it was love right from the start.. too bad it didn’t stay forever.. I had to devour it!

Hats off to whomever is the proprietor, y’all be doing something fantastic!

Visited on a Sunday afternoon while staying in the area during the off-season. The good: decent portion size, especially on the kids meals. Pricing on par with what you would expect from any sit-down restaurant in the area. Open concept bar and dining area made the place feel big when it wasn't too busy. The not-so-good: odd chemical/floral smell when we walked in which one of my kiddos equated to the smell of a cat litter we've used. Either a cleaner or air freshener thats was turned up too much. Wait staff were friendly and polite, but felt like the two that were covering the dining area were sharing responsibilities and didn't keep tabs on who was doing what. All said and done it was a pretty "middle of the road" dining experience. My guess is that it's a better "drinks/appetizer social meet-up" spot than it is a "go have lunch with the family" spot.

Stopped by for a quick dinner on my way through the town. Ordered from specials a fresh haddock dish and it was delicious. Would recommend this place, the chefs here knows what they're doing
