Totally unresponsive. Discovered neighbor turned his lot into a junk yard, wrecked and burnt vehicles, burnt structure.

My home has too many people visiting and leaving their trash. Look for locals to keep the place intact yet they're usually the worst culprits. Like they must not understand what loving their Aina is! Too many discarded fishing lines and tackle are cluttering the cliffs and I'm pretty sure a tourist wouldn't be coming out here and leaving glow lures,big hooks and cigarette butts and beer bottles. Wake up and represent local peeps! I will keep my beaches and cliffs free and clear at all costs.

Park is for Hawaiian Shores Community residents only! Refreshing rectangle pool. Big park. Pavilions and grills available by reservation. Tennis courts are out of commission though.

It's really very nice there. Very quite and native. You get a real feel for what more back to nature is. It was nice to be away from the city. At night you can star gaze until ypur hearts content. It's worth the trip ...

I am truly disappointed in the removal of all wild chickens and roosters in the neighborhood. Was told only roosters were being gathered up, but all chickens, chics, and roosters now gone. Was told by board member several requests were made to remove them all, by who? Everyone I talk to has the same problem I do. The roosters and chickens being gone now have created a major bug problem. More red ants, centipedes, cockroaches, etc. now we are being pummeled by these bugs because someone was offended by crowing. Wake up and stop removing our free bug be gone from our house. We want our chickens and roosters wandering in our neighborhood. Went around in a 3 block radius from my house and could find only 1 person out of almost 35 people who did not like the wild chickens. Majority rules and bring them back. And tell board members to be honest, if asked what they are doing and they say they have been told by the Association to remove the roosters and that he would not be removing the chickens, then that is what they should do, I have personally seen the same person who lied to me, being the one doing all the removing by keeping all his traps in a house of the one who does not like them running wild here. Sad day in Hawaiin shores.

山側と海側では全く様相・植相・雰囲気が異なる。地下にはラバチューブ（溶岩洞窟）が数多く隠れていて時折陥没し、傍目には面白いが住むにはNG。
キラウエアの溶岩上なので、保険料も割高だし。
