Best hotel in St Ignace! The hotel was built about a year ago so everything is new, clean and in great condition. Amenities include an indoor pool, outdoor hot tub (even in the winter), large exercise room with Peletons, breakfast and a large parking lot for trailers. We stayed here on our way to and from Houghton/Hancock for snowmobiling. The snowmobile trail is about a mile from the hotel and offers a quick ride up to Trout Lake. The staff were amazing, especially Lisa at the front desk and David in maintenance who were willing to help when we got stranded at a closed gas station 25 miles away. I highly recommend this hotel. The only drawback is that the hotel allows pets. There were lots of dogs at the hotel.

This was the first stop on a 6-night trek across Northern Michigan. ||Great Hotel! Clean, great location, great view, great amenities. Kids loved the pool / hot tub and game room. New fitness center was perfect. Lounge for evening drinks was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. ||The only downside for us was that we only had one night at the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hampton Inn in St. Ignace. We arrived after a horrific drive through a blizzard and found we made an error with our reservation. Hannah at the front desk helped us figure out and was so kind and patient. Lisa at check out was equally as lovely. The hotel was spotless, well designed and had a great breakfast.

We stayed at this location for 3 nights and couldn't have been happier. The room was clean and comfortable and had a balcony with chairs overlooking the lake. We watched the sunrise each morning from our room. It was October and a little chilly so we weren't on the balcony like we would have been if it had been warmer - but there were plenty of nice, comfortable common places in the hotel to sit and see the lake, have a drink, and relax outside our room. The design of this hotel is well thought out. It has a nice common area with large windows overlooking the lake for the morning breakfast bar. The ladies attending to the breakfast bar did a top notch job - well stocked, cleaned up promptly after people's little spills, and were on top of it. There was a variety of items and the main dishes changed up every morning - this was a nice perk of the stay. This hotel has a loft area that we really enjoyed overlooking the lake, the downstairs common area, and leads out to a roof top bar that looked great - just not the right time of year to enjoy that. We did take advantage of the hot tub one evening with was large and again well maintained - overlooking the lake. I would come back to the area just to stay at this hotel! ha! ha!

Amazing hotel and staff. Took my wife here in August for her first visit to northern Michigan and Mackinac Island and booked this hotel. I wanted my wife to have a great view of the lake and guessed the wrong side of the hotel during digital check in. I explained my situation to the clerk and she moved us to a lake view room and even gave us a first floor that opened up directly to the ground to accommodate our service dog. I would definitely stay there again and should have booked a couple more days.

This was a nice hotel. I debated on giving it a 4 star review instead of a 3, but the overall price of the hotel was just too much compared to similar hotels I have stayed at in the area that are just a good. I stayed for 2 nights. Drove in late the 1st and stayed on the island all the next day and came in late the 2nd. My suggestion, is to try and get a room without a balcony. There is a very bright light on all the balconies that shines right into your room all night, even with the curtains pulled shut. If you want to see the view of the lake, simply go to the main floor and walk out the back and it's beautiful. Hotel is right up the road from the ferry so that was nice. Total for 2 nights was $637.99. Maybe if there was bacon for breakfast it would have been worth, but nah. Add a shut off for that balcony light. It serves no purpose except to keep people awake and attract bugs.

What a delightful property! This new hotel was a step above the usual Hampton properties. The hotel sits right on the shore of Lake Huron and has beautiful views from the lobby with many of the rooms lakefront. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, laundry facility, workout room, and even an arcade/game room! The lobby and furnishings were tastefully pleasing to the eye. There were upper and lower inside and outside seating areas. This is the perfect location to stay if you want to experience Mackinac Island without the island prices. Close and convenient to the ferry. St Ignace is more on the sleepier side than Mackinac City, but this was a welcome for us. There was a fully stocked bar in the hotel, which is unusual for the traditional Hamptons line. Comfy and spacious rooms. Friendly staff. And of course, the delicious Hampton breakfast. We’ll be back!!!
