The stay was good for 1 night! I don’t understand why there are many 1 star reviews. It is a Hampton-Inn off I-95 for a very cheap and affordable price, so I was not expecting very much. But I’d say it exceeded expectations! We are young girls traveling by ourselves, but we’re satisfied with the location and felt safe! Overall, it was an older crowd and families who were also making a travel stop. We are from Florida traveling up the East Coast to South Carolina and needed a place to stop, and break up the trip. Because it’s off I-95, it’s a nearby drive to restaurants and stores. We ate at La Parrilla Mexican cuisine which was 15 min south. Cute modern and trendy restaurant in a nice plaza! Also, we were 20/25 min from downtown Savannah and the historic district, so we were able to take a drive and visit! The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel is older and more run down, but the room was clean and had the necessities. The bathroom had enough towels and provided some toiletries. They had complementary breakfast in the morning. It was a simple, smaller breakfast but did the job and satisfied our hunger. Overall I enjoyed the short stay and have no complaints!

On Christmas Eve, I booked a room on the first floor and was extremely disappointed with the condition of the room upon arrival.

The carpet was visibly dirty, and the shower floor appeared to be vinyl wood with noticeable rust and lime buildup around the drain. Several washcloths had visible dirt on them, while others looked old and dingy. The air conditioning did not get cold, and the room had a strong, old damp odor. The couch was worn, outdated, and had rips on the armrest.

Most concerning, there was what appeared to be dirt or possible droppings in the corner behind the door, which made the room feel unsanitary and unsafe. Due to these conditions, I checked out the same day and did not stay overnight.

These conditions were unacceptable and not reflective of a clean or properly maintained room. I am requesting a full refund for this stay, as the room was not usable.

Please let me know how this issue will be resolved.

Convenient location to our destination, however thus hotel does not match the quality expected from other Hampton Inns we stayed at. The room did not match the listing we paid for.....there were obvious patch repairs in the bathroom, paint splatters throughout the floor, ceiling vent dirt, and more. We appreciated the ceiling fan in the room, and it was a quiet night.

Similar to other reviews, this hotel is subpar at best. Booked while traveling for Christmas. Had to pay to park, which I’ve never heard of. The room was very outdated just about everything was dirty, carpets, furniture, bathroom, etc. Doors were hanging off the hinges on the tv stand and bathroom vanity. Had to call the front desk due to slamming doors and people arguing at 1am, which did nothing! Only stayed for one night thankfully, there are much better options in the area. Stay somewhere else!

My husband and I travel for work. We booked through our hilton honors app. As diamond members we are very much accustomed to the hampton inns. We stopped here after needing a nice quiet night off the road. Ideally we needed to do a load of laundry, but FYI… this hampton inn DOESNT offer any type of laundry service… but notified there is a laundromat 8 miles away… I THINK NOT! Oh well that was I guess thats on me for not inquiring further about amenities. With it being summer time, Ideally A/C would be top of my list…DO NOT have high expectations with that, it was mediocre at best! The bed itself had this repulsive feel of “moisture”. The room had an overwhelming smell of mustiness. The tables/furniture had a sticky film to it. The ceiling was splotched with big water marks and crumbling seams. The vintage dingy dirty overused couch definitely ready for landfill. The hubby was looking forward to a dip in a pool but even that was “out of service”… hmm SHOCKING! Needless to say it was a very long sticky night waiting for morning. On ONE good note hubby did say the shower pressure was phenomenal and refreshing! Wasnt too pleased to find out at checkout that the hidden fee charge to park your car was $5… WHAT?!? Parking not included with your stay Just glad to be done and gone from this place… im sure they are not far from closing down… just a shame they feel they can use the Hilton/hampton name brand because we have not seen the likes of such a degraded hotel brand along our travels!

As a long standing Hilton Diamond member quite frankly I was shocked at the condition of this hotel and the guest rooms.
The first room I had was next to a generator which made the walls vibrate.i went to reception and they said they were aware of the noise and i could move to another room.
The second room was filthy. The refrigerator didn’t work and cupboard doors were hanging off. The floor was so dirty that when I showered the dirt on my feet from walking across the floor made the water black!
Like many previous reviews I was charged for parking even though I checked upon checkout and was told parking was free. The next day they charged my card for parking.
I telephoned and was told by the receptionist that they have been charging for parking for over 3 years. When I asked why it clearly states on their website parking is free she just said I will refund the charge and hung up on me.
I don’t have a problem paying for parking but I do have a problem when their website advertises free parking and also states this on the Hilton app and then they charge your card without authorisation.
Why not just be up front about the parking charge in the first place.

Apparently this is not exactly a real Hampton Inn but pays to use the Hampton Inn name I think. I thought it seemed strange when the room was dirty and run down. It smelled like the inside of a nursing home that uses powerful chemicals to cover smells. And the floor of my room is actually sticky and the carpet needs to be replaced. The bathtub had pealing paint coming off into the water. The staffing was insufficient and unprofessional. I paid Hampton Inn price for a cheap, rundown, inadequately maintained, old hotel room. Public needs to check if a “Hampton Inn” is actually corporately owned and maintained, or is privately Owned and managed but uses the name. I paid for the reliability of a brand. I feel dumb and cheated. I guess Hilton is going the way of Ramada and Holiday Inn. Time to use up all of my points and move on. Always check to see who owns the motel you book, the corporation or a private owner.

Had a wonderful time here and the hot breakfast was incredible! Great location, close to downtown and plenty of dining options for dinner. ***I left my favorite jacket in my room when we left and the manager Lawanda Carter bent over backwards to help me locate, and get it shipped back home to me! She was so incredible and I hope everyone who meets her treats her well because she will do whatever she can for her guests at Hampton Inn 🩷!! Will definitely come back when we can stay longer!!!
