The room was big enough for a group of 5 people and equipped with all the kitchen stuff needed for us to prepare quick meals after long days. Ocean Club was nice. I loved the gym right in front of the ocean, which made me feel like running on heaven. There were also beach gears and collapsible chairs, but we knew them stored in storage outside the door on the checkout. Beach towels are provided to guests at the office. There was no housekeeping during my stay of 3 nights. I had to vacuum by myself. 2 cocktoaches came inside the room on the first night, and their dried parts were founded beneath the sofa, but we took care of them. It was okay. Except some minors. I enjoyed staying at Hali'i Kai.staffI met were all kind and sweet. Thanks. I would stay here again if I come visit Bigisland.

Review: A Serene and Scenic Retreat

If you’re looking for a peaceful and picturesque getaway, this location offers a stunning backdrop with park-like settings that truly take your breath away. The condos here are privately owned, which means each one has its own unique character and amenities—perfect for those who appreciate a personal touch and individuality in their accommodation.

One of the highlights of this area is the walkable trail that winds alongside the ocean, providing breathtaking views as you stroll. The trail offers a serene path to the nearby Hilton, making it an easy and enjoyable way to explore the surrounding area while immersing yourself in nature’s beauty.

Whether you’re here for a short stay or a longer retreat, the tranquil atmosphere and scenic surroundings make this a memorable place to unwind. Highly recommended for nature lovers and those looking to escape the hustle and bustle.

We stayed in 17H and did this mainly for our young children to be able to wash laundry and have ability to cook (we are vegetarian). The kitchen has everything we needed and I did laundry daily with a full size machines. Breakfast outside on the patio was a dream, nice gym and pool area really close by. The community is gated and detailed instructions arrived via email before we arrived so even though we had a delay and arrived after the office closed we easily gained access. They gave us beach towels and check in, and lots of bath towels in the house and pool towels available at the pool. this is a great place for a group or family.

Wonderful condominium accommodations! Many units have view of the ocean. Great on-site restaurant/bar and pool on the ocean. Each unit is individually owned and you rent directly through VRBO or other rental agencies. Overall property is managed by Castle Resorts; some rentals can be booked through them.

Stayed here for the a few days. Condo was nice, pool was excellent. In general, this condo complex is very nice, gated community. The rooms were clean. Grounds were beautiful. The pool is exactly what you are looking for in Hawaii with great view of the ocean and that tropic vibe. Pool bar had good food and drinks too. There is a small open-air gym as well. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area as well. ||We did run into a couple problems so be careful when choosing a room. We went with 24D because it had advertised a King and 2 Queen beds. When we got there though it only had the King and 2 small double beds which made it uncomfortable to sleep. There were a couple lights out but I found extra bulbs in the closet to fix that. The TV in the master bedroom did not work but no big deal as there was one in the living room. The front desk also tried to charge us an extra $300 on check-in even though we paid in full before arriving. This took a day but was resolve and we got our $300 back. ||So I would recommend these condos but beware of the possible issues when booking.
