I have stayed here,many, many times. Alyssa, the front desk manager, does a tremendous job and always goes out of her way to make the stay enjoyable. It is an ideal location to explore the town. The connected Toasted Goat bar/restaurant is a nice added feature. The Speakeasy in the basement is a special hideaway. The hotel rooms are quaint and always on point. I love this place.

Ate at the toasted goat for lunch. Everything seemed good, the French fries tasted great, but it didn't set well with me, unfortunately. The staff was friendly and the restaurant had a fun vibe.

The hotel was great, and I loved the history and location! I read reviews that said the mattress was too hard! I slept great and love a firm mattress 🙂 Being able to walk to the restaurants and bars were a plus. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Comes up as a winery..but it is NOT. Could not do tastings at the Restaurant because they didn't have enough glassware Ate lunch there...had some gluten free options. Had humas plate which was gluten free but no gf crackers or bread to go with it Busy Main Street location made it hard to find parking. Lot in a back alley and enter in back of building. Restaurant might be associated with a winery...but nothing on site that would be remotely be considered as a winery! DISAPPOINTING.

We liked the look of the lobby area, restaurant and speakeasy, we knew the building was old which is part of the charm we wanted. The staff was wonderful, very nice and accommodating. But, the building could use some upgrades. All carpets definitely need to be replaced, very stained. The room had no chairs, chairs would have been nice. The bed was very hard and not comfortable for us. As soon as you open the room door you smell something unpleasant, not sure if it's old carpet, delousing cleaner or what. The TV service was terrible, pixelating all the time. It was only used for night time wind down but not enjoyable.
All in all I don't think we will stay again but if we're in the area we may visit the restaurant and/or speakeasy.

While the restaurant/bar was nice and the lobby is cool looking, that's where the good stops. Our room was old, dirty and stunk. Don't have to worry about the hotel being haunted, even the ghosts are smart enough to stay away from here. The pillows were thin as pancakes. I don't know what was up with the bed. When you lay on your stomach, your knees touch but your feet won't?!?!? Our clothes were even musty smelling from just being there. We love going to historic hotels and expect creaky floors, but this was next level. Carpet in the room was stained and disgusting. The walls were even stained with lord knows what! Can't leave a review on the property site and now know why! Don't trust the pictures either!!! I looked at them before and after and found our room. They must have used the best SnapChat filters ever to cover up the truth. Not to mention how much we actually paid to try to sleep here!!! The owners of this property must have hired a very shady, handyman to do the repair work. The bowl to the pedestal sink wasn't even sitting on the pedestal. I could go on, but enough said. Stay away!! Walk around and look at the displays then leave!
