This is actually a really nice library. I love and appreciate the kids section, the inside and out! However, the reason I gave only 3 stars is because I really wish something can be done regarding the hours of operation. Why is the library closed so early every day (5pm) and always closed on the weekends? Most libraries close latest 6-8pm. The one at my hometown runs 8-9pm everyday and runs 8-2pm Saturdays and closed Sundays. I don’t know if you’re aware of the demographics for military on post families but a lot of us are homeschooling moms/parents sometimes down to one car so getting to the library every day including the WEEKENDS is very crucial to us. Sometimes the library is the highlight of our week! What about very hot or rainy days and the children want something to do other than sit in the house? A lot of children love to explore their local library. I as an adult love to just decompress at the library. The nearest bookstore is another city away. Could we hire more people to help out the already amazing staff to be able to run on the weekends too? Even if you have to open half a day (8-1/2pm), that would be so helpful and appreciated. Is there anyway we can support this local library better to have better hours?

Also why is there no valid website link for this library? That would also be so helpful instead of having to create a social media account just to keep updated. Let’s get this started!

Definitely a great spot to read and relax. They offer DVD and game CD rentals. Staff is nice sometimes they act as though they cannot speak after being spoken to. But I look past the ones with the negative attitude and go to the librarian who speaks. They also offer free wifi and computer room for those who need access to a computer 💻.

A great base library full of staff who care about being more than just an initial on someone’s out processing form. A nice and engaged children’s program too. Not as many resources as other bases but always clean and organized well, with most functions operational.

We love this library! We always come out with a big pile of books. I have wild children who love books, so the children's section is heaven. The staff if friendly and helpful, and we always feel welcome when we come.

This has to be the best part of Fort Stewart. Friendly staff guide you through rows and rows of books, graphic novels, audio books, and an incredible kids section. I wish every other Army facility was even half as awesome.

A library operated by the most professional and caring of individuals. While I just got off work from being in the field I was practically sprinting towards there doors and while they had every right to turn me away as it was closing time, the kind Sir in his book keeper attire let me stay a few crucial minutes to collect and attain some movies so as I can relax and unstress back in the barracks. This kind Sir is a lifesaver and truly a man who care's and gives every possible ounce of effort into his job to make sure that every patron who enters the library receives help and service to the highest standard a librarian can assist with. Its with him and his lighting fast coworkers that allowed me to pick up the films that I so dearly wanted and scan all of them through in record breaking time so that I could be out of the building before the clock struck 1701.

I owe all the coworkers in this library my gratitude for being able to help me in such an extent.

The staff is very friendly and energetic. They are extremely helpful and go above and beyond. They do many fun activities for both, children and adults. I highly recommend.

Nice library however they charge 15¢ per page whereas fort Carson is only 10¢ and a higher bah bracket
