Genetic Eye Therapies

I am a doctor with type 1 diabetes and used Dr. Vargas for my most recent annual diabetic eye exam. His medical training is impressive, including study at numerous top institutions such as Harvard and Stanford. His practice manager, Denise, was extremely professional and courteous, going out of her way to work with my schedule and get me in quickly. Dr. Vargas was extremely thorough and pointed out interesting and important details during my exam, including some that prior ophthalmologists had not. His office had the latest technology, and Dr. Vargas clearly explained the results, since I am not an expert in the eye. I highly recommend Dr. Vargas and his staff, and I will be returning for future exams. Thank you Dr. Vargas and team!

We had an eye emergency and urgent care referred us late on a Friday afternoon to see him as a new patient. Dr. Vargas and his staff were friendly, professional and took great care of my husband to save his vision. They truly went above and beyond to treat him that night and we are extremely thankful. The emergency procedure took place outside of normal business hours and they were patient and so kind about working late. Highly recommend them!
