The glass is filthy, especially on the end-boards. You can’t see. The flooring needs some attention before someone trips and hurts themselves.

However, it’s ICE in Idaho, and I applaud them for providing that. The Parks and Recreation departments across the state should really consider expanding their efforts to provide more rinks, as hockey is gaining popularity and there simply aren't enough rinks to meet the growing demand. In Boise, for example, the two existing rinks accommodate a lot of activity, including 3 hockey team banners as well as hosting practices for BSU and occasionally the ECHL team. And lets not forget public skating, figure skating, and curling. Build it and they will come.

Unfortunately this rink and associated tournament is poorly run. We were there all weekend for a youth hockey tournament and rarely saw anyone who appeared to work there. Concessions weren’t open most of the time, bathrooms and locker rooms were covered in trash. Glass around the ice is so scuffed you can hardly see though. The only thing that made it a ‘tournament’ was a sheet of paper on the wall as a schedule.

Son played hockey at this rink. Ownership is great. Dont get the CDA hockey Academy confused with this place, CHA is a complete scam and has a bad owner. Frontier Ice Arena has a great owner and the rink is just sooo nice

Small seating area for spectators but a great rink for skating. My niece is enrolled in the hockey school which uses the rink for practice and games. Well maintained and we are pleased with how it is managed.
