Whatever older blonde-ish lady with glasses works in the deli needs to learn how to treat a customer. I call and order a pizza as well as a “Large greek salad with no onions or tomato’s” I order at least twice a week from this place the exact same thing every time I order. I go in, the salad has both onion and tomato and the wrong cheese on it. I pointed it out to Bryton, he went over to tell her and she said “What she can’t pick it off?” excuse you? I paid for a salad to be made a certain way, so do that correctly. That’s your job. She then tells me that I never asked for no onions or tomato’s and if i did, she didn’t hear me. Will not offer to remake my salad though? I leave, then realize that the salad is also missing artichokes. I go back in and she tells me they’re out, “would you like a refund”. With that piss poor attitude yeah do not touch anymore of my food, i’m afraid of what you’ll do to it. Woman needs to learn a little kindness goes a long way. Everyone else there is awesome and always friendly though!

UPDATE: My pizza was missing bacon and had no ranch on it. Will not be going back.

Well I live in Winterport so we frequently go there. It's a hit and miss on the pizza. Either it's good or it's really bad. I think it depends on who's making it lol. But they recently hired a guy who has absolutely no customer service skills. He is rude and makes it very apparent that waiting on you is not something he wants to do. I think that it's very important to make the customer feel respected and welcomed. I myself am employed in customer service. I would never want someone to feel as if their business isn't appreciated. FYI his name is Bryten.

We really like the pizza here.

This morning I called to see if by chance they had an item I forgot that I need for a recipe. I didn’t want to drive to Hannaford in Hampden. I spoke to a very courteous and professional young man named Zach. He asked a coworker if the item was stocked, and then he took it one step further to check for himself. While the item (which I new was a LONG SHOT) was not in stock, I was struck by and appreciated this very positive experience. It’s just not that common anymore.

Very long term customer. 10+ years. The smelly, blonde, fat woman is one of the worst employees I’ve seen come through this store, triumphed only when there was a full blown heroin addict working there. Asks very intrusive questions, plays games with customers, and despite being there for months now, does not know her job all that much. Hardly see her working if there’s no customers in the store.
Just to be clear this is the biiiig woman. She is large. You know the one.

The only reason I gave 2 stars is bc Brighton is a savage and I continue to shop here if he is at the counter, or I’ll go elsewhere. 🤟🏻

Went there at 615 on friday 5/8/20. I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza (specialty ON THEIR MENU) and a medium bacon pizza. When I got there they had one buffalo chicken pizza with bacon on it (not my 2 seperate pizzas) No scallions or ranch like the menu states either. A younger new girl made a small mistake I understand. So when I paid for what I had, the other woman told me she was starting to make my bacon pizza right now and when I asked how long she quoted me 20 minutes. So when I arrive back at the store 25 minutes later, THERE WAS NO PIZZA MADE, and the woman who quoted me the time was outside smoking a cigarette on her phone. Will NEVER order here again, worst customer service.

I was skeptical of the rave reviews about the food as it's a gas station, but seeing as we arrived late to town we had little other choices. We grabbed an Italian sub and Italian turkey sub. The bottoms were soggy and the tops were stale. The overripe tomato which were half slices (due to poor cuts) purposefully arranged at the opening of the sandwich. No dressing or mayo which makes me thankful I grabbed some mustard while there! The cheese was melting? dissolving? congealing? to the layers below it (no it had not been toasted or melted by heat..) It was on par from what I expect from a gas station, and would've been better off going to a grocery store tbh, but the rave reviews made me give it a chance. If you're passing through do yourself a favor and don't stop - get food elsewhere.

One thing I'm thankful for is atleast I didn't get sick.

Our car battery died! It was our day off and we were heading to Searsport, pulled in for supplies and boom, stranded. An amazing employee named Steph came out and absolutely saved the day! We managed to get away with our supplies and enjoy a perfect day off. Thank you Steph!

Love the staff! Corporate not so much. They keep the Bakery Blend coffee out all day for me! It's the best!
