Loved the greeting we received by Nellie when we arrived.
Checked back on us a bit after we checked in.
Room overlooked the Ohio River.
King bed, desk, chair.
One side had extra plugs but the whole room needed more.
Jacuzzi tub in bath.
Outdoor pool.
Eggs to order in the morning, fresh fruit and breads.
Bacon on the day we were there.

Great staff. Good, hot, breakfast. 1 min walk to downtown . Our room had a bedspread that looked well worn. The terrace overlooking the river had not been cleaned up for seasonal use. I would stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay. Would stay again if we were to be in the area. We had 3rd floor river view room. Great view of Ohio River and nearby bridge. There are a pair of railroad tracks right alongside the hotel, which is why the location lost one star. There were about 7-8 trains that passed by over the 2 nights we stayed. If you're a light sleeper, they might wake you up. If you like trains, though, you might enjoy their proximity. They really didn't bother us much. Comfortable beds. We had a small housekeeping issue with the first room they gave us, but they moved us to a different room without hesitation. I think most rooms, like ours, have large whirlpool bathtubs ( not certain if the whirlpool feature is still functional). So the tubs are very deep and require a big step over to get in. If you have a mobility issue, that may be a little difficult.
Several restaurants/ bars within walking distance. Area around hotel seems safe. Good continental breakfast. Juices, milk, cereal, cinnamon rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, toast, bagels, yogurt. Everything was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of free parking.

My wife and I checked into the French Quarter Inn to celebrate a couple of nights for our 56th wedding anniversary. We came off-season, but was very pleased with our room on the fourth floor with a view to the river. Our room was clean - and the bed was very comfortable. We were within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, the cold weather discouraged us from venturing too far on foot. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Carol, was especially helpful - giving us the history of the town, and where we might get restaurant discounts because of our stay at the French Quarter.

the folks were about as friendly and outgoing as they could possibly be and went out of their way to be helpful. Despite being a bit older the place was clean and well maintained w/ large well-appointed rooms, a nice lobby, decent "Continental style" breakfast (pastries, juices, cereal, fruit, great coffee, &c). Over-sized bathrooms w/ lots of big, fat, fluffy 100% cotton towels, plenty of pillows and a great view of the river (river view rooms cost more but that was off-set by a senior discount). |The only possible downside is that river view rooms are also directly adjacent to the RR tracks. That is something of enjoyable to me but could be an issue for some as the train going past at various times does rattle the room fr/ floor to ceiling. |I liked the place enough so that when I return to Maysville I plan to stay there again.

I was shocked how nice this hotel is in the middle of nowhere. I usually stay at IHG or Hiltons but love the change in scenery. I will definitely stay here in the future.

What a great place to base our genealogy travel trip. Historic Downtown Maysville is wonderful. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved our view of the Ohio River. Breakfast in the morning was great and it was very nice to be able to get beer and wine at the front desk. I hope we can return to Maysville again. We definitely recommend.
