Had my daughter here because of a cough she couldn't get rid of. Ended up being pneumonia. Considering the tests they had to take to determine what was going on, we didn't have a long wait. All staff was friendly and it was clean. Can't ask for more than that!

I fell off a ladder at work and could barely walk on my foot. So, I hobble in here for the first time to get checked out, and almost everything was as good as it can be for a dr. visit. My only slight complaint would be i did have to wait a little while to be seen, but I hear that is unusual. Everyone was very friendly. They xrayed my foot and found out it was a broken heel. They wrapped it up good, gave me crutches, and referred me to an orthopedic. As pleasant an experience as it could be.

Long wait time. Doctors only seem to be there for a paycheck. Very dismissive of my issues. I have serious immune system problems. If I get a common cold it can put me in the hospital. I went there because I was in serious pain and I felt sick. Hence the name “Urgent” care. Not half urgent care. They treated half of my issue. The other part about me being in excruciating pain well that did not matter. They dismissed as if I was an idiot for even asking. I have had immune system issues since I was 14 I’m 37… I know the correct time to ask for something to help with my pain. I’ve been hit by a truck, had three major surgeries, broken my arm and driven my car home an hour and a half.

If I say I’m in pain… guess what? I’M IN PAIN!!! Doctor made the wrong decision, obviously does not actually care if someone is having pain. All the idiot pill popper people have pretty much ruined my life because if I have any issues whatsoever (Quite often because of my terrible immune system) I run into clown doctors like her that do not care about the patient and act like they know my personal needs better than I do.

Thank you for treating half of my issue but maybe consider a different profession, one that doesn’t require the need for compassion. I’m sick of running into doctors that do not care about how people feel.

DO NOT GO HERE IF IT IS ACTUALLY URGENT. Go somewhere else. Go here if you need a regular doctor’s office where they treat the most minor of issues, anything else is beyond the staff here.

My frustrations are with the billing department here; it's been a long time since my wife's one visit, but from what she remembers the staff were friendly and efficient. However, her August 2023 visit has left us with an outstanding bill that Frederick Health refuses to re-file with our insurance company. More details below. TLDR, billing has been an ongoing nightmare, and continues to cause us stress. Staff was nice but billing has ruined our experience.

My wife visited in August 2023 as a new patient. Her visit was unremarkable, she recalled the staff were friendly and process simple. Her insurance covered the visit, and she provided her information, but we received a bill in the mail from Frederick Health.

In my initial calls with insurance, I was told Frederick Health used the wrong code for the visit. Our insurance company called FH's billing department, and walked them through how to refile the claim. At this point, it's April 2024, eight months later, due to all of the back and forth.

To follow up, after a few weeks I called the billing department, and was told I'd need to contact the doctor to change the code. I attempted to reach them, but ended up speaking with Leah at FH who resubmitted the claim. I called back in May 2024, and was told the claim had been escalated; that if we hadn't seen a new bill yet, that was a good sign. Cue radio silence for several months.

Right before the holidays of 2024, we received the same bill again, this time saying it was extremely delinquent. I called Frederick Health, and was told a note was added on 12/6 that the claim was billed for reprocessing, but they received no response.

Our insurance company provided proof that no claims had been made since the original claim, even in April/May 2024 when the conference call was done.

The insurance company conferenced FH again today, and spoke with Messiah. Was told to give them 10 days or so to process the claim again.

We've had an awful experience getting someone at Frederick Health to take charge and solve this for us. We were happy with their services and want them to get paid, but the experience in actually paying them has been awful. Please, if you have not already visited, reschedule and look elsewhere.

Frederick Healthcare, Emmitsburg is a God sent to the residents of Northern Frederick County. I've been in there several times in the past year and it's always been a wonderful experience. The receptionist is helpful and all the staff are friendly. I'm so thankful to have this place close by.

Waited 1 hour and 15 mins with a sick toddler just to get brought back then in total spent over 2 hours at our visit. So sense of urgency.

Today I was taking a bus of seniors on a scenic drive. One had a bathroom emergency and we happened to pull off right at this Frederick help. While we did not need care they were so understand kind and compassionate to the senior I had with me. While it was just a quick stop they had a lovely waiting area and very clean facilities. Certainly recommend their care team. Kind souls.

People at the front desk are rude. I went there because my primary care doctor wouldn't see me because I showed up ten minutes late. ( still i accept that's my fault) but I couldn't get another appointment for 2 weeks. Abd was having a bad sinus infection with chest pains and blisters in my throat and could hardly drink water. They was aware I Couldn't see my primary care for a couple weeks out. And I was pushed our of there being told to take tylonal and ibuprofen. For what seems to me is an obvious infection in my upper respiratory area.
