This is a very small beach but it is well maintained. Has a marked swimming area, covered picnic tables a handicapped walk down to the ocean, a pier currently under re- construction from hurricane Idali, a nature boardwalk trail. You can launch a boat or kayak from a very nice tamp. There is plenty of paved parking area, clean bathrooms, a shower to wash off the sand. The sand is white and the maintenance crews keep it raked out nicely. Depending on the time of day and week you can find a lot of solitude to just watch the sunset and relax. There are barbecue grills or just bring a small one yourself. Dogs are not allowed on the beach, however there are other areas not restricted. The drive out to Ft Island is Gorgeous. All in all A GREAT LITTLE BEACH PARK!!

White sand beach. We saw some dolphins the one morning, just past the buoys. If you're going to eat food on the beach watch out for the birds, there FAST.

As far as the money you collect you should take better care of your fishing peir AND your boat ramp IS VERY DANGEROUS 😳 YOU DONT TAKE CARE OF IT Your a law suit waiting to happen!

The fishing pier is closed indefinitely due to hurricane damage last year, they don't know when it will be repaired or replaced.
